This is an upstairs room with a private bathroom and independent access through exterior stairs. Ideal for those traveling alone, as a couple or with friends as the beds can be separated.

The room has a minibar, electric kettle, cutlery, and breakfast items. We also leave you a set of wooden plates, a knife and a salad bowl in case you want to use any of the "chulengos" or barbecues found in the park of the property.

The space
The room is bright and comfortable, the large windows are provided with blackout curtains to prevent the passage of light and ensure a good rest. Remember that in the summer months it dawns very early.

The room has a fire extinguisher, streaming TV, emergency light, hot water available 24 hours a day and Wi-Fi. As well as heating, given that due to the latitude in which we are located, even in summer, they are usually required.

Guest access
The room is located inside a closed property with a view and access to the park since in summer the days extend for many hours of light, -between 5 am and 9 pm- and they give us sunrises and sunsets with an unparalleled color palette. Moments that in Patagonia are usually of great beauty.

Other things to note
In the park you can cook roast meat in the traditional "chulengos" or charcoal or wood barbecue, with your own utensils for cooking with fire. Just one block away you can buy what you need to cook your own barbecue.

The cabin has a Self Check-in system that allows guests to enter directly, for which a numerical combination will be given to you with the reservation. We incorporated this home automation solution during Covid-19, however, we know that nothing replaces face-to-face communication, and we will be happy to welcome you personally

Where you’ll be

El Calafate, Santa Cruz, Argentina

Once you're settled in "Las Cumbres", nothing is far away.

We are in the "Aeropuerto Viejo" neighborhood, which owes its name to the first airfield, which when it stopped operating, its runways were transformed into the two widest avenues in the city and around it grew one of the hotel areas with the most projection, where you will find restaurants, bars, travel agencies, supermarket and laundry.

Las Cumbres is located on Calle Armando Tola 217, 300 meters from the Bus Terminal, from where the bus lines that connect the city with El Chaltén, Río Gallegos and Torres del Paine depart. There is also a line that departs from there that goes to Los Glaciares National Park daily, and there is an Information Center with opening hours from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

100 meters from our accommodation you will find a complete supermarket to buy fruits, vegetables, meats and drinks and also meters from the place you will find a place with healthy, vegetarian and vegan food.

The "Comandante Armando Tola" international airport is 19 km from "Las Cumbres". From here we can book transfers to/from the airport.

I like to think that the history of Cabañas Las Cumbres began to be woven many years ago, on another continent, when my great-grandparents Felipe Berzal Cristóbal and Basilisa Giménez attended a stay in Navas de Estena, a small Spanish village of Castilla-La Mancha. In 1912 they migrated to Argentina and settled in Córdoba in the hope of continuing in the field, but time imposed them other challenges.

When I came to Patagonia, I never imagined, that I was going to give continuity to the wish of my great-grandparents. Next to Guillermo, my husband, we start with the cabañas project, with a clear feeling: that every guest who visits us find in here comfort, warmth and shelter. We think about it with the goal that helps visitors prepare to enjoy the challenging days of Patagonia.

Our son's arrival also defined our concept of hosts, that's why we build a safe and comfortable space for the little ones, that's why the park is one of our most cared for treasures that we make available to every traveler. Either for the children's game, or for sunbathing at the repair of the poplars.

Receiving, hosting, hosting, sharing, being hosts, are the verbs that led us to the adventure of welcoming visitors from all over the world, every year. We also travel when we receive them. We look forward to sharing our history and with the wish that you will take away a beautiful experience.
