The holiday home is a fantastic symbiosis of history and modernity! A several hundred year old house with romantic charm has been combined here with the amenities of today: underfloor heating, modern kitchen, dimmable light. Really great! In addition, the great location in the middle of the old town, very quiet and with a great park right outside the door. Everything was clean and super equipped. Even fresh tulips were at the table! In addition, Marina arranged a bike rental for us - a great service! We rarely had such a great vacation rental!

Super nice house and nice quiet location to relax and come down! We felt right at home and were totally impressed by the accommodation. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakers and a small beach bar in the vicinity and total idyll. Many beautiful hiking routes from the property even without a car. The house was super equipped and totally well coordinated. Every corner of the house invited you to relax. Felix and Holger were friendly, uncomplicated and quickly accessible. We definitely recommend it! Not unlikely that we will come again:)

We had a wonderful short stay in the cozy wooden house of Norbert and Rabea. The two are very friendly. Everything went smoothly, both in the previous communication and on site. We fully recommend the place. :)

Had a wonderful stay, the cottage was beautiful and cozy! Anything you need is here. A nice shower, nice coffee and super nice that the dog was welcome! When you are upstairs (the bedroom) it is a bit noisy, with a fairly busy road in the morning, but downstairs it is quieter. All in all, a nice stay!

We stayed in March 2025 for 3 nights in the suburbs and it was fantastic. Despite the "main road" location (it was less busy than some dead ends), it was quiet and idyllic. The neighbors were very friendly, the baker right around the corner and Lake Dümmer 10 min. by car. The furnishings are traditionally and quaintly selected to match the house. The two gardens were also a dream and we will miss them the most. Thank you for everything.

A beautiful place to find peace and unwind. We were able to relax wonderfully here with our club but also work. We've already been to the Unikate twice. The weekend for next year is already booked. Fully recommend.

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

We were very pleased with our stay. The accommodation was very nice and modern. The kitchen was well equipped. You could make beautiful walks at Dümmer See.

Margot lives right next door. Very nice and accommodating. We only used the place to stay overnight because we were busy in the bronze courtyard during the day. Everything was perfect for that!!!

Felix is a great smiling kind guy who accommodated us in his cosy place . His place has everything you need, and super nice jacuzzi :) I also liked the nature around the house , so many trees ! Highly recommend to stay there!

We are coming from the south and wanted to stay a night close to Emmen because we were going to the zoo. We were warmly welcomed by Rene and felt very welcome. The chalet is located on a small-scale and quiet campsite and is super cozy. Our daughter of almost 2 also liked it very much and camping cot and high chair were also present, plus! We also enjoyed sitting in the sun in the garden by the chalet. We had a nice weekend and definitely recommend this accommodation!

We had a really great time here and will probably come back next year. The complete shelf is ideal for families.

We spent the holidays in Dissen and the apartment was great! Everything was perfectly maintained, superbly furnished and clean. Communication was also very good.

I was Kunterbunt with my 3 year old son for one night. It was a super nice experience, we all grilled together and made stick bread. A great place to stay for both kids and adults. You can either cuddle socializing and animals or enjoy nature and the beautiful tiny house. We felt so warmly welcomed, we will be happy to come back!

Great stopover during our travel from Germany to Netherlands. House was very comfortable and easy to check-in. Great coffee machine!

The place was very nice and cozy. I love the woodstove and bath. We had a very relaxing stay here.

We had a great stay at Michael's "super cozy" place! The accommodation is furnished with a lot of love for detail, super equipped (kitchen, technology, light - everything great!) and simply invites you to feel good. Especially nice: the large terrace and the huge garden with barbecue! Despite the central location, you are completely undisturbed and have the whole cottage to yourself. Michael is a great host: helpful and responsive. I found the personal YouTube videos in advance very helpful and likeable. All in all, a really great place with character - we will be happy to come back!

Alfons and Pamela have created a wonderful place with their house in Mettingen, where you immediately feel comfortable. We spent Easter there with the extended family and it was just perfect: plenty of space, lovingly decorated and with a fantastic garden that invites you to linger. Even in the rain, it is wonderfully cozy inside, and there are many beautiful excursion destinations in the area – so there is no boredom. Alfons and Pamela gave us great tips that enriched our stay even more. Thank you for this relaxing time, the nice communication even in advance and the beautiful Easter in Mettingen. We can only warmly recommend it!

We felt very welcome and were greeted with fresh flowers and a welcome bag with snacks for our dog! Everything was very lovingly and comfortably furnished with good amenities in the kitchen. When we needed a hand mixer, she brought us one directly and was generally very accommodating. The only drawback is the bed. Unfortunately, the mattress or mattress topper is so soft that it feels like lying on marshmallows. This is certainly appealing to some but we slept quite badly and my partner avoided the sofa at night. Nevertheless, staying with Karin is an absolute recommendation for a nice stay in Münsterland. Extremely dog-friendly and plenty of opportunities for long, quiet walks.
