Super nice house and nice quiet location to relax and come down! We felt right at home and were totally impressed by the accommodation. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakers and a small beach bar in the vicinity and total idyll. Many beautiful hiking routes from the property even without a car. The house was super equipped and totally well coordinated. Every corner of the house invited you to relax. Felix and Holger were friendly, uncomplicated and quickly accessible. We definitely recommend it! Not unlikely that we will come again:)

Nice communication. We were received very kindly and hospitably. Short tour of the cottage. Everything super clean, tidy and well cared for. Everything that is advertised is provided. Farewell was also personal and friendly, nice souvenirs received. Highly recommended!

Place was just as described. There is plenty of space available and everything you need is on site. Would definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful short stay in the cozy wooden house of Norbert and Rabea. The two are very friendly. Everything went smoothly, both in the previous communication and on site. We fully recommend the place. :)

Had a wonderful stay, the cottage was beautiful and cozy! Anything you need is here. A nice shower, nice coffee and super nice that the dog was welcome! When you are upstairs (the bedroom) it is a bit noisy, with a fairly busy road in the morning, but downstairs it is quieter. All in all, a nice stay!

We stayed in March 2025 for 3 nights in the suburbs and it was fantastic. Despite the "main road" location (it was less busy than some dead ends), it was quiet and idyllic. The neighbors were very friendly, the baker right around the corner and Lake Dümmer 10 min. by car. The furnishings are traditionally and quaintly selected to match the house. The two gardens were also a dream and we will miss them the most. Thank you for everything.

We are 5 colleagues and have been to Heide's beautiful house for the 3rd time. It is just great for us, Heide welcomes us very friendly and we feel right at home. Everything is so nicely done, 100% clean and lacks nothing. We'll be happy to come back next year:)

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

We were very pleased with our stay. The accommodation was very nice and modern. The kitchen was well equipped. You could make beautiful walks at Dümmer See.

Margot lives right next door. Very nice and accommodating. We only used the place to stay overnight because we were busy in the bronze courtyard during the day. Everything was perfect for that!!!

Felix is a great smiling kind guy who accommodated us in his cosy place . His place has everything you need, and super nice jacuzzi :) I also liked the nature around the house , so many trees ! Highly recommend to stay there!

We are coming from the south and wanted to stay a night close to Emmen because we were going to the zoo. We were warmly welcomed by Rene and felt very welcome. The chalet is located on a small-scale and quiet campsite and is super cozy. Our daughter of almost 2 also liked it very much and camping cot and high chair were also present, plus! We also enjoyed sitting in the sun in the garden by the chalet. We had a nice weekend and definitely recommend this accommodation!

We had a really great time here and will probably come back next year. The complete shelf is ideal for families.

We spent the holidays in Dissen and the apartment was great! Everything was perfectly maintained, superbly furnished and clean. Communication was also very good.

I was Kunterbunt with my 3 year old son for one night. It was a super nice experience, we all grilled together and made stick bread. A great place to stay for both kids and adults. You can either cuddle socializing and animals or enjoy nature and the beautiful tiny house. We felt so warmly welcomed, we will be happy to come back!

Great stopover during our travel from Germany to Netherlands. House was very comfortable and easy to check-in. Great coffee machine!

The place was exactly as described. Communication with the host was friendly. A request whether a 9th person can be accommodated in the accommodation was immediately answered positively and both an additional sleeping place and towels were provided. Gladly again!

We had a great stay at Michael's "super cozy" place! The accommodation is furnished with a lot of love for detail, super equipped (kitchen, technology, light - everything great!) and simply invites you to feel good. Especially nice: the large terrace and the huge garden with barbecue! Despite the central location, you are completely undisturbed and have the whole cottage to yourself. Michael is a great host: helpful and responsive. I found the personal YouTube videos in advance very helpful and likeable. All in all, a really great place with character - we will be happy to come back!

Alfons and Pamela have created a wonderful place with their house in Mettingen, where you immediately feel comfortable. We spent Easter there with the extended family and it was just perfect: plenty of space, lovingly decorated and with a fantastic garden that invites you to linger. Even in the rain, it is wonderfully cozy inside, and there are many beautiful excursion destinations in the area – so there is no boredom. Alfons and Pamela gave us great tips that enriched our stay even more. Thank you for this relaxing time, the nice communication even in advance and the beautiful Easter in Mettingen. We can only warmly recommend it!

Just a nice quiet location. And there is so much space, i can't even find words for how big the room we got was. It was just perfect. Also very nice hosts, always responsive and helpful. Also nice location, just 15-20 min into the city.
