Huge 40 foot Loft with vaulted ceiling

Wow! Where do we start, we just spent 3 wonderful nights in the barn and wished it was much longer! On arrival Andrew made us feel so welcome and at home with his informative and warm greeting. The place is immaculate and has everything you need (including things you wouldn't even think about!) for a peaceful getaway in a stunning location. The gardens and the grounds are so nice for a stroll in, and Tricia and Andrew generously let us treat it as if it was our own for our stay and even let us help ourselves to the fruit and veg from the garden. Andrew and Tricia were fantastic hosts and truly made our stay special. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay at the Granary and will definitely be back ourselves.

Hill Top Retreat

Me and my partner stayed her for a break away to celebrate our anniversary, the location is private peaceful and absolutely stunning. The views are phenomenal. Nicola was an amazing host, she gave clear instructions of how to find and then access the Shepard’s hut. Was very quick responding to any messages also. The Shepard’s hut was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. The hot tub was lovely to spend the evenings taking in the views. We really enjoyed visits from the donkeys and goats. Thank you we definitely will be returning.

Truly remote and unique Shepherd's Hut

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was our third stay at the hut, felt right at home immediately. Weather was a bit intermittent but we had plenty of room inside the hut as well as outside. Ryan has provided utensils and crockery, as well as tin opener, corkscrew, spatula and serving spoon. There is a wood burning stove inside and a little portable gas stove and canisters plus a large kettle which can boil on the wood burner or little gas stove. We bring our own stove and pans etc. It's a walk from the car to the hut, so bring things that are easy to transport. No electricity but there is a little bedside light and a charge pack provided plus the outdoor fairy lights to help guide your way- though definitely bring a torch! lovely views of the hills from the hut.

Our stay was incredible. It was quiet, peaceful with beautiful views from the treehouse. The kitchen was so well equipped which made cooking meals so much fun! We also got so many recommendations on what to do around the area and every single place we stopped by did not disappoint. Everything was extremely neat and clean, and we loved the way the space was decorated. Overall a 10/10 experience, would definitely be back!!

We spent 4 nights in Clun, the accommodation was excellent, just what we needed after a hard day walking, nice pub in the village for evening meals, plus a couple of cafes.... very peaceful location and it was a joy to hear bell practice from the church one evening. Great place 👌
