Perfect location for a family getaway, will definitely rebook if needed. The only very small gripe was the water heater kept turning off mid shower, giving out very cold water, maybe due to a lack of our understanding of the functionality or just the low capacity of the heater. Nevertheless the host was very responsive and reasonable in their responses.

Ingrid is the perfect host and the house is nice, cosy, clean and small but adequate. Baarn is very close to Utrecht and nice place to stay with good people

We were very warmly welcomed by the owners with drinks and chocolate and got a tour of the house and helpful information about the area. Amersfoort is beautiful and within walking distance of the property with nice restaurants. We were also able to rent bikes in the village. The accommodation is centrally located for tours to Urecht, Haarlem, and the Ijsselmeer. Haus Doorn is also highly recommended. All in all a very nice vacation in a cozy house with a covered wind-protected patio, where we could have our breakfast. We would definitely recommend it !!!

The week we spent at Jan's house was very good. Jan welcomed us and showed us the house; he's a very kind and friendly person. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, the house is great, clean and tidy, and we loved the bathroom.
