This little house started life as a woodworking shop. When we outgrew it, we made it into a guest house. It may be imperfect, but it's perfectly adorable. We have a peek of Mt. Little Avalon

This newly upgraded family cottage has been a comfortably living accommodations for our kids and parent when needed. We were able to upgrade it with new floors, bathroom and kitchen for our new Airbnb guest to come stay and enjoy our wonderful Gorge. In this setting you are surrounded by the locals and we are just a 1/4 of an acre away. The kitchen has all the amenities and if you don't like coffee the quick way there is a coffee pot and french press for your coffee desires.

Centrally located for easily accessing hiking, biking, water sports and wine tasting. - 5 minutes to Mosier and I84 - 15 minutes to Hood River - 20 minutes to The Dalles

Elsie's View: Cozy Vintage/Modern Cabin

We are nestled in the woods within a stone's throw of the stunning White Salmon River. Our cabin dates to the 1920s (one of the oldest in the area but we recently updated it). 4 people max. We are best for 1 or 2 adult couples (one queen and one full size bed are available). A couple with one or two kids works okay too. What doesn’t work great are 4 adults who sleep separately since that means using the pull out couches downstairs. Well-behaved dogs okay with advance notice.

It’s the perfect spot to get away from city life, but an easy drive if you want to enjoy what the surrounding towns have to offer!
