You can also enjoy a relaxing stay in Kagawa, such as visiting a bonsai nursery, Kokubun-ji Temple, the 80th stop on the Shikoku Pilgrimage, and walking the Shikoku Pilgrimage Route. 　You can also enjoy dining and BBQ at the English garden in the flower season. 　It is the perfect base for a stay where you can fully enjoy a day trip sightseeing in Setouchi, where you can reach Kotohira, a major tourist destination in Kagawa, within 40 minutes by rental car, Chichugahama, within an hour, and Tokushima Soya, Okayama, Kurashiki, etc., within an hour and a half. Kusa no Niwa | 100-Year Machiya Lodge in Takayama

Kusa no Niwa is a traditional Japanese-style house with a courtyard and corridors that was built more than 130 years ago. The entire house with a size of 100 square meters will be lent privately to a single group with a maximum capacity of 6 persons. You will find a fusuma, a sliding door with a paper panel, painted by a famous Japanese Painter, which can be also found in the Taue’s House, an Important Cultural Property, located in Nyukawa Town.
