Pomaika'i

AliciaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a beautiful home in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. It was the perfect size for our family of 4, including 2 children. We enjoyed being able to watch the sunrise from the backyard, and driving only 3 minutes to a large, gorgeous beach. The host was very responsive, friendly and kind. We highly recommend this place for any group!

Waimea Bay, North Shore - Walk to beach!

VanessaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
I absolutely loved my stay in this tiny home! It’s the perfect spot for exploring the North Shore — cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The sauna was such a wonderful bonus after a day of adventures. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. I can’t wait to come back!

Family Tides

MarissaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay was lovely! Especially compared to another place we stayed, Helena’s home was so comfortably clean and well-stocked! There wasn’t anything we wanted that we didn’t have, and the beach stuff was so nice to be able to use! Finding a water jug to hold extra water and discovering sunburn cooling gel after too long in the sun were especially nice touches. Thank you for providing a great place to be with convenient parking, great access to cool stuff, and super comfortable. We had a great time!

Hale Mahina Beach House

Nice beach house. Little busier road than expected to get to the beach, but liked the access to the nice beach and easy access to local attractions.

Nalu's Island Home

MadelineRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The whole family loved our time at Nalus place! From the start he was super responsive with any questions I sent over chat about the location and surrounding areas. The home itself was clean, Cozy and stocked with the basics which was great for arrival. One thing to note, the home doesn’t have central air BUT that was not a problem for our group because the home does have a window unit and plenty of fans to keep things cool. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and the home, would totally stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Executive Family 4BR Home w/ AC, Spa and Bikes

KarenRating, 5 stars13 months ago
This was a perfect place for our family vacation! We loved the location. It was a quick drive to Hanalei, a short walk to the coffee shop and grocery store, and a lovely bike ride to the Anini Beach trailhead. The home had everything we needed plus the bonus details of AC in the bedrooms, six bikes, ping pong table, hot tub, outdoor shower, plenty of beach gear for snorkeling or lounging. We enjoyed having a relaxing and quiet home to come to each evening. Our adult kids (who are on their own in busy careers) came with us so the time to just relax and be together was great. We all agreed that Deborah’s lovely and quiet home is the perfect place and we plan to stay here every time we return!

Mauka Sunrise, Walk to Hau‘ula Beach & Trails, A/C

RoseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our family of 7 stayed here for 7 nights. Nola’s place was absolutely perfect! It has everything you need plus some. We felt right at home. For the first time visiting Hawaii I could not have picked a better location. We had a car rental so we did drive a lot however the drives were right next to the ocean, can’t complain about that. It was worth it not being right in the busy city. Plus the beaches were not as packed. 100% recommend this cozy spacious place.

Support LOCAL: NEW! Mākaha Valley Home

YachaiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This house is in new development about 1 hour drive from Waikiki. The house is new and equipped with Alexa. Floors and furnitures are cream color so we needed to take good care of it. They provided everything needed for a beach day (chairs, umbrella, board, beach towels, etc.) Makaha beach is 5 minutes by car. It is peaceful and not crowded beach with lifeguards. We spotted peacock on the way to the beach. The area has few supermarkets but we prefer the one in Waikiki that is much bigger and offer more fresh ingredients. The hosts are very responsive to the messages.

Plantation style home / Anini Beach

ElisabethRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Mary’s home was perfect for our family of four. We have two young children and Anini beach was perfect! Just across the street is an access path to the beach. Soft sand with crystal clear calm shallow water, perfect for snorkeling and just splashing around. We even saw a sea turtle. The house is much better then the pictures, beautiful plantation style interior with a screened in dining area and lani to enjoy the morning sun. Our kids loved the out door shower and all beach equipment supplied at the house. My one comment is that it can be loud at night with roosters and cars passing by. If you bring ear plugs you’ll be fine. We can’t wait to come back.

Private free-standing Cottage,Hot Tub,Walk 2 Beach

JimRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My brother and I spent 9 nights in Bruce's cottage and can't imagine staying anywhere else WHEN we come back to Kauai. The home felt very private, even though on the farm property. I've seen other reviews mentioning ants, but they were a very minor issue, just keep the kitchen clean and you won't see them! We loved the geckos, they are so harmless and will even pose for up close pictures! You'll get used to the roosters, they are everywhere on the island, just bring earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep. Bed's were cozy, King in the bedroom as well as the pullout couch in the living room. Plenty of linens and pillows. Showers were great, a spacious indoor shower and a great outdoor shower as well. We took advantage of Bruce's rental car. Very well kept and clean SUV. Cheaper than a rental and Bruce provided pickup & dropoff services at the airport. Lastly, we played in 2 "farmball" games on the Fridays. So fun! All the players were so friendly and welcoming. Mahalo Bruce
