LA PICANE Gite

ClaireRating, 5 stars6 months ago
La Picane is a warm, peaceful place, where we had 5 great family days. We were greeted with great friendship by Sylvie and her husband. The cottage is really well appointed, it has absolutely everything! This is the first time we are going to such a well appointed AirBNB (kitchen, cleaning equipment...). We were with 2 babies aged 15 months and the house is quite suitable! We did not use the Normand bath for lack of time but we plan to come back and try! We'll be back with great pleasure!!!

Cottage in secure residence 300 m from the beach

FaustRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Good communication with the host and the person responsible for hosting us (who was very kind by the way). Amenities present, or absent, correspond to those mentioned in the listing (maybe just specify directly to take sheets, towels and tea towels to avoid having to ask). A few small quacks (light bulbs to change for example), but nothing restrictive, and which will certainly be corrected quickly. The accommodation is a little far from shops, but we were aware (the name of the residence is indicated, so it is not complicated to check the location). The proximity to the beach and the very quiet area was really nice. It is not impossible that we return in the future, and with a doggie as a bonus since the garden is fully fenced. In short, I recommend it without problem.
A modern eco-lodge rests on a grassy hillside, surrounded by lush greenery and trees. The building features large windows, offering panoramic views of the natural landscape. A wraparound deck extends from the structure, inviting outdoor relaxation amid the serene environment.

The Star Tree, Ecolodge & Spa

NanakcharanRating, 5 stars93 months ago
We had a lovely 5 days in this very special location. It is quiet and relaxing. The shared kitchen area is very tasteful with large windows overlooking the valley and there's enough space to distract the children. We had the most wonderful time. The place is a brief 20min drive to Honfleur. Would highly recommend.
A charming wooden chalet is set in a natural environment, featuring a cozy front porch with pink shutters. A gravel pathway leads to a dining table and chairs, providing a space for outdoor meals. Surrounding greenery enhances the quiet, rural ambiance.

Gîtes les Rainettes in the countryside, near Bayeux

StéphaneRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a great time at Sophie and Sylvain's place. They are very welcoming and friendly hosts. The accommodation is quiet in the countryside (with cats, chickens and horses), the cottage is neither too big nor too small, just what it takes to feel comfortable. It's clean, nice, and well-equipped. In addition, the landing beaches, Caen and the Bayeux tapestry are not far away. We highly recommend this rental!

Chalet les falaises

Frank&SonjaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We spent 4 days in the chalet and felt very comfortable. The location is excellent for exploring the alabaster coast. We did hikes and bike rides. Fecamp and Etretat are quickly accessible and very worth seeing. In a few minutes you will be on the beach. There is everything you need for a few relaxing vacation days in the house. Outside you can enjoy the sun until the evening, the pool table we found a little too big for the terrace.

A just gorgeous weekend! I highly recommend it, the place is great, whether it's the cottages and the exteriors that are breathtaking! Very peaceful, pleasant and secluded place, but also close to the city and necessary amenities just 15 min away. Thank you again and see you soon!

KarinRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Our first time in this cottage. Here we will definitely come back again. We had a wonderful vacation, our dogs also came here to walk wonderfully in the fenced garden. Everything was as described the listing and very close to the beach. Nice location to visit the invasion beaches. Also very nice the bakery is within walking distance at the end of the street the same for the supermarket. Tiphaine is a great host and responds super helpful and quick to the messages.

Mobil home on 4-star estate near beach

CapucineRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Our stay at Thomas's place went very well. Self check-in is really nice and allows you not to be stressed on the road because no one is waiting for us. The instructions provided were clear and allowed us to find the listing quickly. This one is very well located, close to the swimming pools and the entrance to the campsite. The location of the campsite allowed us to do everything on foot: seaside walk, restaurant, ferry terminal... And finally, Thomas is really friendly! We recommend it!

We had a pleasant stay in this comfortable house. You quickly feel very good there. The beach a stone's throw away is an asset. The location is ideal for visiting the main landing sites. Augustin is a responsive host and attentive to our needs.

Waterfront cottage

IlseRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We, a family with 2 children aged 9 and 12 and our 2 dogs, stayed in Deplhine's cottage for a week. The location is phenomenal: You can walk to the beach from the gate in the backyard. At high tide, the sea stands up to the path, at low tide you have a huge beach. Our children thought it was very special and fun to sleep in their own cottage in the garden for two. At their age, this is also fine, but you should keep in mind that they have to go through the garden at night for the toilet. Found ours no problem at all. In the cottage there is a small bedroom( connected to the living room) and a master bedroom. The living room overlooks the sea and the kitchen provided everything we needed. We had to ventilate for a while, because it smelled a little musty. Is due to the humid sea air, I think. Once the windows open, it was so gone. Delphine came to know and is very friendly. Also cool things to do next door! We really enjoyed it!
