Recommended to see in the nearby area: Old ruins from World War II. Rich island kingdom where you can walk all the way to the lighthouse. Gulatingsparken, 20 minutes by car. Bicycle paths. In the winter season you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky. The ferry goes across the fjord, and to Solund. (free ferry) Remember to shop before you arrive, there is no shop in Rutledal. Welcome :)

Gamlestova at Juv

Juv is much more than just a house and a bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna on Juv and Gamletunet on Juv. From the canopy bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky follow a tourist boat on its way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire up the stove, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound of the wood stove nearby. NB! Outdoor hot tub and car charger are not included in the rental price.

Modernized cabin next to the fjord

This recently modernized cabin is located in Hellevika in Fjaler, just 50 meters from the fjord. The original part is an Ål cabin from the 1970s, while the extension with bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was recently completed. The plot is sunny with a great view of the Dalsfjord and the sea gap. In the photos in the listing, you can see among other things the popular hiking destination Alden, also called "Den Norske Horse". In summer, there are many great swimming areas nearby, including on the pier just below the cabin.

Cabin near the Fjord

The Eldhuset is part of a farmyard. The cottage has its own terrace with a roof and its own parking. Livingroom and modern kitchen in the same room, two bedrooms and a new bathroom with washing machine. The bedrooms have double beds (150x200) and a built-in bed (150 x 200). The farm is located near the ferry terminal, Lavik, along the E39. The cabin is a great starting point for kayaking on the fjord, forest walks or easy mountain hikes. We have a motorboat, SUP, kayak and sauna for rent.

Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located at Lote, in Western Norway, at an elevation of 270 metres above sea level. With one of Norway’s most breathtaking views of fjords and mountains, you’ll experience a true sense of quiet luxury and a calm, relaxing stay. The cabin is situated on a farm at Helle in Sunnfjord, in a beautiful scenery at Førdefjorden. It has an amazing view to the fjord and the majestic snow top mountain with a glacier. It is located right by the fjord and has a beach right outside the cabin. Great place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and a local cafe is 5 min away. Self service farm shop. Free WiFi. Motorboat for rent (summer season).
