Located only 4.7km from the local town Claremorris, which has boutiques, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, & great sports facilities (tennis, equestrian, gym and indoor pool, athletics track, etc). A good base for visitors who wish to explore Connemara & the West of Ireland while still feeling the comfort of home. Suitable for couples, adventurers, business travellers, and families.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.
