The Old Vicarage Annex, Earl Sterndale

PeterRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at Jonathan’s place was wonderful, it was such a lovely setting with walks from the door. The annex was very private, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. It was a foul day when we arrived and Jonathan had been very thoughtful and put the mixed-fuel burner on and everywhere was toasty when we arrived! We tried to keep it going the following day but failed and Jonathan came to our rescue!
A quaint stone cottage is surrounded by a low stone wall and gate. The entrance is framed by flowers, and a patio area with outdoor furniture is visible. The building shows a rustic charm with a sloped roof and inviting doorways, set against a backdrop of rolling hills.

Bluebell Cottage - Fabulous!

DonnaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Bluebell Cottage is such a quaint cosy little place. Peaceful and relaxing yet you can look out of the window and see the cows. The views are breathtaking and it’s just perfect when sitting in the little stone walled garden. Boyd supplied plenty of information for both the cottage and local places. I will definitely be returning

Beautiful peak district cottage

OttilieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A perfect home away from home with idyllic rural views. Brilliantly equipped with everything you need and a handy parking space in front of the cottage. It’s in a great location - 30 minutes to Edale and 20 minutes or less for walks such as Chrome Hill, Luds Church and Three Shires Head. Buxton is on your doorstep so there’s plenty of amenities nearby. The small welcome gifts were very thoughtful and a lovely touch. Would highly recommend this cosy cottage to anyone who would like to explore the Peak District. A big thank you to Eleanor our host for allowing us and our dogs to stay. It is by far the best Airbnb my partner and I have stayed in. Thank you.

Bank House Hut

JoeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay in the Bank House Hut. We arrived on Thursday evening and the host David was incredibly helpful. After initially struggling to find the hut, we rang David and he answered straight away. He met us and guided us to the hut. We really enjoyed our time in the hut, which has fantastic views of Chrome Hill. It’s in a great location for hiking, plenty of privacy, and cannot fault the hosts. They provided us with Prosecco and biscuits for our stay and were always there to offer guidance and recommendations for the local area. Tip for heating- we found that this worked much easier if you lit the hob for a few minutes first before starting the electric heater. Joe and Becky

Outstanding views Buxton, Flash and Peak District

This is self-contained first-floor apartment, finished to high standard, and well fitted out with everything you’d need for a stay here. Alan and Carole are lovely people, helpful and caring, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
The cottage exterior showcases a blend of natural stone and soft yellow hues. Large windows allow natural light to flood the inviting entrance, framed by greenery. A rustic stone bench sits along the pathway, providing a tranquil outdoor space amidst the lush surroundings.

Ewe’s Rest - Peak District

MichelleRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I booked this for my daughter’s 24th birthday treat. She had a fantastic stay. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was prompt and friendly. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the thoughtful touches of birthday flowers and card were really kind. I would definitely?recommend it to others

Monsal View Cottage

AngelaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The photos are stunning, but the view irl is breathtaking. Also, there are hikes within feet of the entrance to the place. We were there in early summer, so there were TWO ice cream stands and a pub with delicious food and drinks within 20 yards of our private outdoor table area (visitors were so jealous!). The flat was exquisitely clean and welcoming. Just magical—-right down to the “witches welcome, muggles tolerated” door mat! Amazing host; amazing stay!
