If you’re staying in York, England you cannot go wrong staying at this cozy home. Wonderful location, relaxing home, beautiful surroundings and wonderful guests. My highest recommendation. You will not be disappointed.

The house was in an great location, town centre is a 5 minute walk away. Home was lovely and stocked up with things for tea/coffee and more. Hosts communication was clear and consistent and it was easy to check in. Parking was sorted by our hosts and they organised this in advance of our visit. We loved the small touches such as extra plugs in bedrooms and books or leaflets about York. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting York, and would look to stay here again!

Lovely, cosy home, exactly as described and pictured. Kind and helpful host. Great location, across from an excellent supermarket, and just a stroll from the center of town, with the city walls and York Minster and The Shambles.

Excellent stay with spacious clean well located accommodation. We really enjoyed staying here and will definitely use this Airbnb again whenever we come back to Harrogate. The host is very quick to respond and is very accommodating and just made us feel very welcome in her place.

Had an amazing stay at York, which made my family and I felt just right at home. Conveniently located at a peaceful estate with a 10min walk to the city centre. Rachel was very responsive and tried her best to accommodate to our needs. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean and well equipped with whatever we need. The linen (hotel grade towels) are clean (I usually don't trust Airbnb towels but this was trustable). The beds were super comfortable, especially the master bedroom one. Even though the house was very old, it still feels very cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended if you are planning to stay in York! 5/5!! ✨

We have absolutely loved Hedgehog cottage from the minute we arrived. So quiet and peaceful. Immaculately clean and nothing has gone unthought of. Dog blankets for the pooch, shower gels for the humans and even softener/ wash etc. we have extended our stay even longer as this is the perfect spot for us! The Sunday dinner at bricklayers is to die for and the fish and chips! We have yet to try pie night though!! Just the nicest hosts and always on hand to answer questions. Really comfy beds and loads of clean bedding etc in cupboard! 13/10

Me and my family stayed the weekend at Mary Ellen’s best cottage. There was plenty of space for us all (4 adults, 3 children) and the accommodation had everything we needed. The garden is lovely with playground, swings and football area for the children. The woodland and small waterfall was beautiful and great for the children to explore. We made use of the snooker table and the basket ball court. The hot tub was a big hit with everyone. We visited Castle Howard which was a short drive away, there was plenty of things there for us to easily fill the day. Our stay was relaxing and I look forward to coming back, thankyou for a lovely stay

Lovely, relaxing location. They kindly provided a travel cot and high chair for our toddler. The pool was a highlight, warm enough to use in April!

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Tastefully decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable apartment. Communication was excellent and Ellie was very accommodating to our requests. Would totally recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful time, there is so much to do and the cottage is lovely. We all remarked how big the place is because the pictures just did not do it justice. We'll definitely be coming back!!

Honestly can't rate this place highly enough. We planned to stay for 2 nights but had such a great time we ended up staying an extra night. Extremely clean, lovely and quiet (it was off season) and plenty of places walkable or within a short drive. Everyone on the site seemed lovely and Angela was very responsive and gave lots of really good information before and during our visit. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We had a really lovely stay at Curlew Cottage for my husbands 40th birthday weekend. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area as we are into our walks. The house itself was beautifully presented, spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The setting was very peaceful with beautiful views all around. We spotted lots of wildlife which was lovely. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

Terry's place is lovely. It was very cosy and had everything we needed for our short stay. Wed definitely stay again!

I brought the break as a 70th birthday gift for my Mother and she thoughroly enjoyed the break, she said it was exactly as described and Liesa was friendly, welcoming and gave them recommendations for dinner. The property is in a great location to explore and managed to visit a few national trust venues, She loved the welcome bits when they arrived and overall had a brilliant stay. Thank you :)

Great Hosts and Stay !

The Kennel was an amazing find, Pauline & Graham were very friendly and accommodating hosts. We genuinely felt welcome and loved both the accommodation and the wonderful garden which our dog couldn’t get enough of. We enjoyed our short stay here so much that we decided to book a second, and longer stay later this year.

The biggest plus with the property is the location and the private parking space. It is a short walk from the centre of York and all the attractions. The accommodation is clean and has everything that is required.

Our stay was lovely. Property was beautiful perfect location for our plans and the communication before and after was great. Wish we could have stayed longer!
