House vacation rentals in Holgate

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

Wow! This place was above expectations, absolutely beautiful cottage and facilities. The cottage itself is so spacious and finished to a very high standard, spotlessly clean. The grounds and facilities on offer are superb. The location is stunning and perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas, so many places to visit. We’re already planning our next stay, thank you for a perfect stay!

Lovely stay over the New Year period. Great location with just a short walk into Pocklingto where there are lots of places to eat and drink. Would recommend.

This hidden gem was perfect for our family getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. we were welcomed with a smile, and a beautiful home made cake and loaf of bread, as well as a fun "boo-basket' with hot chocolate, smores ingredients and a pumpkin to carve. cottage was exactly as described and clean and tidy. we loved the indoor swimming pool and games room, allowing us the holiday fun irrespective of the weather. The Coachman Inn pub only a mile away, had the freshest pint and one of the best steaks we've ever had. close to Pickering, were we took the steam train to Goathland, and Dalby forest to go swing at Go Ape and ride bikes. and only 30 mins from Whitby to get a dose of sea-side and fish n chips! the grounds of the cottage were beautiful too, for a lovely evening stroll, where we met the sweetest chickens and ducks. Truly a fab week away to recharge the batteries !! thanks so much!! and will definitely recommend!

Myself, 9 others and 1 small dog booked on of Sue's fantastic cottages for a reunion weekend. Sue was very easy to communicate with, gave us the guidebook ahead of time virtually for any queries (we were very interested in the pizza oven and games room) Facilties were excellent, we were lucky that no other cottages on the site (only 3 others) were in use during our stay, so had free roam of the site and facilties. The local recommendations were brilliant. We went to the old black bull down the road for dinner on the first night and then again for roast dinner on Sunday - mega The house itself is just as shown in the photos, more than comfortable to sleep and house 10 of us for the weekend. Special mention to the hottub, (which is private for your house and I believe comes with all houses) and to Paul who was more than helpful coming to our rescue and reviving out pizza night when we experienced some issues with the oven. 10/10 would go again.

Celebrated my mums 80th birthday making memories 8 guests plus a dog. everything about the stables was perfect all on one floor spacious clean and fully equipped. The outdoor area was especially good we had lovely weather so enjoyed the hot tub and patio area. pizza shack was brilliant we were definitely useless at making pizzas!but Paul stepped in to help Big thankyou Sue and Paul made us very welcome lovely friendly couple . my dad said I quote "we backed a winner here " would highly recommend

Perfect location. Perfect house. Perfect host. I stayed in Orchard House with my husband, daughter, son in law and two grandchildren aged 12 and 14. The host was so kind and had left milk, bread and a home made loaf for us. One morning we found a bowl of peaches from her garden on our doorstep. Jacqueline is nice and friendly and is available if you need to know anything. We loved everything about the house. Plenty room for us all. Great sized living room. Kitchen come dining room was ideal as were the 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The appliances are new and of the highest quality. Also made use of the log fire when we returned at night. We all enjoyed the swimming pool and table tennis. These activities were such an added bonus. A quiet peaceful location close to so many beautiful villages. Visited Thornton-le-Dale, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Filey, Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, and went on the NYMR steam train from Pickering to Whitby.

We had a big family gathering with lots of coming and going over four nights. Sue was really kind - from unexpected dogs to over enthusiastic kids, we couldn’t have asked for better, more patient hosts. Really special weekend for lots of reasons and very grateful for such a lovely place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was delightful with many outstanding features. Very nicely equipped too and the beds so comfortable. Stunning views and space around was perfect. The hosts were excellent...very informative, alwayszavailable and extremely friendly. We'd definitely like to stay here again. The young children loved it too.

Stayed for a long weekend for my daughter’s birthday, to see a concert at Temple Newsham. Very handy for the venue, and also for local food - can recommend a take out from Aryaan down the road! Jo very friendly and helpful with local advice.

John was very helpful when I looked to stay at his house in Leeds! Gave very clear and precise instructions and was always available if I had any questions or needed help. Would recommend staying here if ever you fancy somewhere to stay in Leeds!

Very good stay, even when something was needed it was sorted quickly. Good location for pub and easy to get into town or other local areas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it most comfortable. Albeit it was only a short break for us this time, we booked The Cowshed for two nights to visit RHS Harlow Carr Gardens and to visit some areas in West Yorkshire that we hadn’t yet covered on previous visits to Yorkshire.. The location was perfect as we didn’t have too far to drive after an initial long drive up from the South. Although the accommodation is literally just off from the A1M, we couldn’t hear any traffic noise whilst inside the property and it certainly wasn’t an issue whilst sitting outside with a glass of wine in the early evening sunshine. We were very pleased with our choice of booking and would certainly come back.

I came to Harrogate for a family wedding at the nearby Valley Gardens and needed a property close by with parking. Chris’s place ticked all the boxes and was extremely comfortable, well equipped and clean. It is also extremely quiet at night for such a central location. I would highly recommend staying here as a base to explore everything Harrogate has to offer.

Amazing venue, spacious living space which was appreciated by all. The children loved the toys they found and the adults enjoyed the grounds, Poole and table football. Kitchen facilities were excellent and we all fit around the dinner table with ease and comfort. If you need a special place for a group get together this is the place to go. So much better than a formulaic bland hotel. Thanks to the team.

Other reviews already mention how clean the property was - and it really was, with lots of nice touches like shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the bathroom. The shower is really strong and hot, which is always good to know too. But what really stands out for me is the location. The property is opposite the stunning cathedral, and just 2 minutes from the centre of Ripon. There are so many restaurants (including dog friendly restaurants) and independent businesses. Then there are loads of brilliant days out within a very short drive. We had a brilliant stay, would really recommend it to anyone wanting a base to explore a lovely part of Yorkshire.

Check-in was seamless and the property was in great condition. No complaints at all. Managed to walk back from Temple Newsham after a concert and parking was great, so location was ideal.

Zain is a great host,the house is very well presented and in a great location. Bedrooms are all spacious and well equiped with desks, chairs and clothes storage. The only improvement i can suggest is would be great to have mirrors in the bathrooms. TV was bit temperamental but Zain compensated for this with a late check out. Overall lovely stay at a lovely house.

We had a great weekend at Amy's home, the view is stunning, as is the house, with a great open plan space, perfect for friends to get away. There is everything you might possibly need in the kitchen which is well laid out. The beds are very comfy, it was quite difficult to get out of them on Sunday morning to be out by 10 😀. Amy was very helpful when we had an issue with the showers. Great stay and highly recommended.
