Vacation rentals with a patio in Holgate

We had a lovely stay at Earl’s place for the weekend - great base for the wedding we were attending! Great location with lots of restaurants within walking distance and super hosts who left so many little touches - especially the cake, thank you!

Really lovely little bolthole in tbe perfect position to explore York on foot. Quiet and peaceful at night. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable inside the property. Would definitely recommend, and would not hesitate to re book a second time, thank you.

What a find! Absolutely perfect for our three night stay in York. Secure parking with EV charging and we didn’t use the car at all once we’d arrived. 45 minute pleasant walk to the centre or bus stop literally right outside the door. Also got an Uber back after a night out and was less than £8. There are local pubs and shops within a few minutes walk too. The place is exactly as shown in the photos, absolutely spotless, with comfy bed and good quality bedding. Carolyn is an excellent host, great local info and perfect level of communication…providing all the information and responsive to messages but also left us in peace :)

Lauras place was beautiful, her instructions on finding the place were perfect and the parking spot is a plus! Being conveniently close to the park and ride to get into York centre was very good! Laura has utilised the space wonderfully, it’s beautifully presented and the outside area is a bonus to sit and have a coffee in the morning. The place itself was beautiful and very well equipped, with snacks, coffee, tea, milk and bathroom accessories (shampoo, soap etc) beautiful towels and bedding and even an air cooler. Huge TV with Netflix and Disney. Everything was perfect. Very clean. We will definitely be returning! Thank you

Great location and host. There was everything you need in the kitchen from milk to honey. If i go to York again I'd definitely stay in Jane's annex.

Catherine is the ideal relaxed host. (and a baking angel, thank you, Catherine!) The apartment was large, bigger than we expected, and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal for our weeks stay, lovely peaceful surroundings, but easy drive to a great shopping centre with good park & ride into York, also 1 hour access to Whitby, Harrogate (Harlow Carr), Rievaulx and Fountains.

We had the best stay. Shelia responded straight away when I txt her to say there was no tv reception and she sorted it very quickly. The scones were delicious as was the jam and cream to go with them. The whole flat was so cosy and comfortable. Parking was very easy also. Very close to Knaresborough town centre and a good walking distance away. You can adjust the heating very easily if cold. I would 100% stay here again. The stairs to get down to the flat are quite steep so just be weary of this if you struggle with steps but I have MS and I managed without too much trouble. The bed is also so comfortable. My husband had I had a great night sleep. 😀

Helen was an excellent host. The location was perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Harrogate. The house was spotless and very well equipped. 100% will stay again.

Lara’s place was lovely and very easy to get too. On arrival we parked outside the property which was a bonus and was greeted with a lovely chocolate cake and a bottle of Prosecco. We loved sitting in the garden of a morning and an added bonus was the summer house! The easy walk into York took around 20 minutes along the river. Such a beautiful walk. Highly recommend! Really friendly and accommodating hosts. It was so peaceful, the location is really lovely! Felt like a cosy little retreat! I mentioned it was my husband’s birthday and we were greeted with a lovely cold bottle of white wine which was such a lovely touch! We enjoyed it outside in the sun listening to the birds. Everything you need in a stay.

Really fantastic stay. House was spotlessly clean, exactly as described in the listing. Fabulous location in walking distance to everything we wanted to see in York. James was a great host, responded quickly to messages and offered early check in and late check out as he wasn’t booked either side of our booking. Highly recommended!

Gilbertson cottage was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The house was immaculate and just completely breath taking. We came on a Hen do & just could not get over how unreal every single aspect of the house was. It made our whole weekend. It was everything and more that we could have asked for & I couldn’t be more grateful. We’ve already spoke about a few of us coming back with our partners and children! What a beautiful place. Lovely stay at the Shed - we've been before and it was just as good if not better second time round

Immaculately presented little hideaway just outside the centre within easy walk for food and drinks. The place is exceptionally homely, spotlessly clean and has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Free parking is less than a minute walk away. Jim is an exceptional host and highly communicative. Will return and would highly recommended.

Victoria's, lovingly presented, cozy flat was an exceptional find, offered with every thought for our comfort, enjoyment and pleasure. Conveniently situated within the beautiful city, it always proved a pleasure to return to, after our days out. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

We enjoyed our stay in Sophie’s place. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. It was also well situated for exploring the delightful city of Ripon and the surrounding area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. A fabulous self-contained contemporary apartment, ideally situated for public transport or Park & Ride into York and the MacArthur Glen Outlet Centre. The accommodation is very well appointed, clean and tidy. Amanda is a very friendly, helpful and responsive host. Overall, a very comfortable and relaxing stay that we would be happy to revisit - highly recommended!

Absolutely stunning property with everything you would need for a stay away already in place! It’s just as it looks in the images, very spacious, absolutely stunning bathrooms and full functioning kitchen with all the cutlery and dishes you need! Loved the guest book with all details and instructions for our stay! Can very much tell the host has a lot of attention to detail! Every part of the space was so well thought out, aesthetically pleasing, whilst also being highly functional! I will definitely be looking to book again for my next trip to Harrogate!

This is a fabulous rental. It is beautifully appointed inside and spotlessly clean and tidy. It’s in a very quiet spot with verdant outside space and close to the buzzy pub and restaurant scene in Headingley as well as being within striking distance of Leeds city centre. Jo could not have been more helpful in terms of accommodating us and making us feel immediately at home.

We had a lovely stay. The property was small & cosy with everything we needed. Great location just far enough to be peaceful but easy to reach the centre of Knaresborough & the waterside. Chris gave great recommendations for local food & drinks & we loved the Mitre for food & had a great night with live music in Track & Sleeper just next door. Loved the view from our bedroom window, we saw a deer & woke up to the birds singing! The staircase took a bit of getting used to 😀 but I loved it!!

After reading all the other positive reviews, we felt confident that the apartment would be ideal for us - and it was. The welcome gifts of bubbles, chocolate biscuits and the world’s best tea (Yorkshire Tea) were very much appreciated. The parking space was a little challenging at first but we soon mastered it. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.
