Helen was an excellent host. The location was perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Harrogate. The house was spotless and very well equipped. 100% will stay again.

This was by far the nicest place we’ve stayed in during our time in England! The apartment is extremely spacious and incredibly comfortable—perfect for relaxing and feeling at home. We especially loved the cozy living room, which was ideal for evening get-togethers. The host was wonderful—friendly, proactive, and provided all the information we needed ahead of time. The location is fantastic too: just a short walk to the city center, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. We also really appreciated the thoughtful restaurant recommendations available in the home. Highly recommend this place—we’d love to stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Crooked End House. Everything we needed was within walking distance and John even showed us where some local parks were for our kids to play. York is such a wonderful place to visit and we can’t wait to plan our next trip. Hopefully Crooked End House will be available then too!

Immaculately presented little hideaway just outside the centre within easy walk for food and drinks. The place is exceptionally homely, spotlessly clean and has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Free parking is less than a minute walk away. Jim is an exceptional host and highly communicative. Will return and would highly recommended.

Lovely house very clean and tidy, lots of dvds and tv has free view, Netflix etc, very well equipped has everything you need, great location for us visiting Bramham horse trials. Will definitely stay again.

Great weekend in York on a girls trip. The house was perfectly located within a short walk to York centre. The house was comfortable and as described. The parking was ideal for one car. Our only downside was lots of the plates and cutlery were dirty eg tea stained cups, spoons and left over food underneath plates. This is obviously down to previous guests not cleaning things properly as there is no dishwasher. Jemma provided lots of cleaning products and the house is beautifully decorated. We most definitely would stay again.

We had a lovely weekend stay in this beautiful part of the country. Jackie could not have been friendlier or more helpful and provided us with delicious treats on arrival. The annexe is very comfortable, spotless, and we enjoyed sitting in the private courtyard as the weather was great. The village is so pretty and both evenings we had delicious meals at the pub (literally opposite). Perfect location to visit Helmsley, Thornton le Dale, Castle Howard. Could not recommend more.

Lovely clean flat with all amenities-super extra touches with fresh flowers, milk, biscuits etc. Great local maps with information about shops, restaurants and attractions. In fact the whole experience really could not have been better!

Just had a wonderful stay at this property, which is located just a couple of minutes walk from all the shops, restaurants and bars. The check-in details were on point and we easily found and accessed the property with no issues. Once inside the photos were a true representation of the flat. The location as above was second to none, although next to a fairly busy road (masked by bushes), the glazing did a great job and we could not hear anything, it was also nice to look out over the town walls. We only had 1 issue regarding cleaning and that was the cooker hood, which did not look like it had been cleaned for months, leading to a strong cooking smell all over the flat. So ended up cleaning it myself and contacting Pass the Keys who dropped off additional dishwasher tablets (even though on instructions it stated not to use the dishwasher). All in all a great property, easily walkable to all the main attractions, with parking right outside the door.

Carmen and Martin welcomed us with open arms, and Carmen was incredibly kind and friendly. She explained everything clearly and made sure we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Thank you for the amazing hospitality — we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!

You couldn't ask for a better location. This flat is very centrally located - close to everything, and yet still very quiet over night and in the mornings. Short walk to the train station, the long stay car park, and to the shops or down to the river. The flat itself is very nice, well appointed and has everything you need for a short stay. Fay was always quick to respond and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. We had a really nice stay!
