House vacation rentals in Holbox

This place was amazing! The house is clean and spacious. Perfect location, away from busy from traffic but only a couple minute walk to the beach and about 10-15 minutes walk along the beautiful beachside into town. The pool was great and we lounged on the deck with the neighboring iguana. WiFi was fine and the place had pretty much everything we needed.

Great, spacious house in an amazing location. Just a few minutes walk from the beach, and less than a 10 min walk to town center. Very private and safe. Had a few minor issues with the house, but they were addressed promptly. We appreciated the recommendation for transportation from Cancun, the access to beach chairs, the beach towels, and fresh fruit and water. Tons of closet space. We will be back for sure!

We really liked staying here. It's beautiful inside and the beds are really comfortable. Everything was great but unfortunately, there was construction noise going on a block away all day during the week. We were surprised at the size and amount of mud and puddles in the area, but once we found a good route in to downtown and to the beach, we got over it pretty quickly. We would go back again!

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Lou. While the location was a bit far from the beaches, the neighbors were noisy late into the night, and sometimes trash burning was kind of toxic air quality, the home is wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. The pool is especially nice with jacuzzi jets and very clean. Karina was an absolutely wonderful host who helped us with all our food and entertainment requests. She introduced us to a great taxi driver who was very responsive and safe. It was a great immersion into the culture of Holbox.

Casa del Mar's location is unique for enjoying some of the most interesting points in Holbox such as Punta Cocos, bird watching where the neighborhood king is the flamingo and experiencing the bioluminescence crowned with the best view of the Milky Way on a new moon. The house is perfectly integrated into its surroundings. We enjoyed breakfast with a view from the dining room that starts at the height of the treetops to observe the nearby beach until you reach the horizon line to the sea. The roof garden is an observatory with a pool included, so the daily dilemma was whether to go out to explore the island or stay to enjoy a seafood platter on the grill to watch the sunset from the terrace. All the housekeepers were super friendly and helpful, always willing to help us. They say that those who visit Holbox stay longer than planned or return, we will return to Casa del Mar.

Everything was very good with the home and the attention from Monica, only there was a lot of flies and that made it unbearable to go out to the pool and every time we asked for a taxi we had to run out because in front and on the side there was a lot of grass that attracted the flies in an exaggerated way.

Absolutely perfect. The house is great, big spacious rooms with comfie beds. The property is amazing with perfect white sand stretching from the door all the way to the ocean. The location couldn't be better with cute little beach bars and restaurants in both directions and being only a few blocks from the town center. Holbox is quite lively and you can hear music and festivities through the night, but close the doors and the rooms remain peaceful and quiet. The racoons and coatis might also pay you a visit if you stay up late enough. They're totally harmless! Just don't leave any food or trash out.

The place was as described and shown in the photos, very comfortable, everything was excellent, highly recommended if you want to have peace of mind, it is the perfect place, in the same way the pool gives you a great plus to relax.

The location is quiet, there were some good restaurants right nearby, you have to go 20 minutes to the center for more hustle and bustle. Plan a walking tour or rent bicycles, which can also be found in the immediate vicinity. The way to the beach is really very short. We would recommend it to anyone who likes it a little quieter.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Location is perfect, it’s peaceful, the shared grounds are beautiful and the separate kitchen was a great bonus! I had no issues with Wi-Fi which was great because I had to work a bit while I was there. I’d definitely recommend Kelly & Jacque’s place to stay!

Delighted with the place! The attention is excellent: every day they were available in case we needed anything, they gave us information about tourist activities and places to eat, they also gave us info on tours at a good price and we were able to rent bikes for the day much cheaper than in the center. We were also offered to enjoy the pool which we did not have included. The quiet area, the closest beach is beautiful! It is close to Punta Cocos. Downtown you can walk quietly. The house is cute, the room is large and has plenty of storage space, the bathroom is good, the shower is large and has good pressure, the kitchen-living is a spacious space, it has everything you need to cook for two and basic utensils. The WiFi works out of ten, I worked from there and it worked great. I would definitely go back!

Stayed at Veronica’s place and it was absolutely perfect. We were 3 couples staying, and rented out the entire house. The whole house is separated into 3 fully functional units, which is perfect because everybody has their own space. The lower unit is a 2 bedroom and quite a bit larger which allows for a more communal space to hang out and make dinners. The location is fantastic, close enough to walk to everything, but far enough away that it’s quiet at night. They were able to accommodate any request, and every recommendation they made for dining/excursions was spot on. I can’t recommend this place enough, Holbox is a magical place.

Wow. I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough... we were 5 adults total and one baby... the campus of both houses was perfect for our group. The houses each are spacious with very cool decor and the pools/sun decks make this place an absolute oasis. Mostly though, this Airbnb was as special as it was due to Daniela!! She made us feel right at home... including flexible check-in and check-out when our plans abruptly changed last minute. She was laid-back but super professional... checked in regularly (but not intrusively lol) to ensure we had what we needed and to offer any recommendations or services she could arrange for us. Also, the maintenance crew keeps that place looking new and refreshed daily. This was truly a great Airbnb experience and we are grateful for the attention and care Daniela and her team provided. AMAZING!!!!

This spot is truly magical and the staff was awesome. All rooms had great AC and were comfortable. Literally the best place on the island for watching the sunset was right in the front yard. The water (mere steps from the house) is quite shallow and the waves were very mild, so great for kids. The folks who come and clean everyday were such a treat and they were very responsive if ever there were issues. The raccoon issue is very real, so would be mindful about leaving any food or anything outside.

Beautiful, private home right on the beach! Walkable to downtown, convenience store, restaurants, etc. The ocean was perfect for swimming and the sandy bottom goes out far! Our pool was also very refreshing. Beach bags and pool towels were provided. The bedrooms are all very nice and large, all with their own well stocked bathrooms. All rooms in this home have great views of the ocean! The kitchen is also well stocked, with plenty of seating and open to the family room. We had several flight problems causing us to arrive a day late. Rene was so kind and offered to have complimentary yummy pizzas delivered to us! Both Rene and Sonia were very helpful with organizing transportation for us, and recommending places to go during our stay. I would highly recommend staying in this amazing home! Thank you again Rene and Sonia for your generosity, kindness, and making us want to come back and stay in your beautiful home!
