Rokkenan is a simple inn surrounded by nature. There are no private houses within 100 meters, so you can enjoy a relaxing time. During the day, you can hear the birds chirping, and it is blissful to spend a relaxing time rocking in hammocks. If you're lucky, you might even see wild birds, deer, foxes, raccoons, and other wildlife. Because it is a natural environment, there are also various insects. Rokkenan is perfect for nature lovers. On a clear day, you can enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Daisetsuzan mountain range. Hiking in the summer and skiing or snowboarding in the winter with its high-quality powder snow. Rokkeian is about 300 m from the ski resort and about 200 m from the hot spring facility, so you can reach them on foot. The hot springs after enjoying winter sports are exceptional. The room is a Japanese-style room with tatami mats and is equipped with a traditional Japanese sunken fireplace, so you can enjoy a barbecue indoors. The house is located in a quiet villa area, a few minutes drive from Mizu-no-Eki, on the north side of Lake Toya. You can see the lake view from the second floor of the house, and you can see the fireworks in the onsen town every day in the summer. The best part is the large, completely private garden. There are various types of flowers, trees, and fruits, so you can enjoy the scenery in all seasons, and there are also tables, chairs, and umbrellas, so you can relax in the garden. There is a municipal hot spring, Ikoi-no-Ie, located nearby (1 minute by car). You can enjoy the scenery of Lake Toyako and the hot spring baths fed by the source spring for 450 yen. You can stay with your★ pet (dogs only). The garden is a lawn, so please use it as a dog run that you have to yourself. It is about a 7-minute walk to the lake, so it is also in a good location for a relaxing stroll.
