Hostel vacation rentals in Hokkaido

I love the owner so much!!!! She is funny and interesting. She is very responsible for her guests,especially girls!!! It feels just like being back home. Thank you for inviting me to play in the snow. I had a great time there! Hope to see her again!(o^^o)

I missed my first night due to a delay in my train making me miss my connecting train. Masahiro was very accomodating and made sure i made it in ok the next day and that he was available for me when i arrived to check in. He is a gracious host and his place is warm and inviting. A very comfortable stay. Highly recommend you stay at Masahiro's place if you are in Hakodate.

Simple and cheap if you are on a budget this is perfect the airport limousine bus is literally less than a 5 min walk and the station a 10 min walk near in mind if it is the middle of winter there is snow literally everywhere so make sure you wear good shoes for the snow i slipped a few times ! But that was the experience but yes it met my needs! Arigato.

素敵な思い出を作ることができました。宿はとても綺麗で、何より比呂子さんのお話や観光場所まだ教えて頂いたことはとても思い出に残ってます。小樽も博物館やオルゴール館を回りとても楽しかったです。比呂子さん大変お世話になりました。

札幌ドームに近く、往復徒歩で行けたのでコンサートには大変便利でした。また、とても親切に交通情報を教えていただき助かりました、ありがとうございました！

I really enjoyed my brief stay in Hakodate at Masahiro's place. He had a nice sense of humor as he introduced the place and I felt right at home. Close enough to go walk around and access Mount Hakodate which I really enjoyed. I would come back if I ever find myself in Hakodate again.

little barrel is the best hostel in hokkaido! with quirky and warm furniture, plants and artwork, we felt at home straight away. the large kitchen is perfect for travellers, with space for multiple people to cook and do other things. the amenities are plentiful and so were the free condiments. the lovely cleaners and staff were always friendly and thorough, we highly recommend this place to anyone! it is also in a good location, with easy access (10 minute walk) to the famous canals. Thank you little barrel!

很优美的公共空间，住一天可能不太方便要是能长时间住在这里就好了。另外，冬天从站台拖着行李箱到民宿实在是地狱难度，雪很厚很难拖动，入住这里最好带小的行李🧳

とても清潔でお掃除の行き届いたお部屋で、リラックスしてゆったりと滞在することができました。 ホストのYukaさんの温かいお人柄の伝わるすてきな宿です。ファミリーを含めてみなさんにおすすめします。 お部屋は快適な広いベッドがあり、子どもとふたりゆったり寝れました。 お部屋のセンスもよく癒されました。 大事な今回の滞在先にこちらのお部屋に泊まることができ、本当に幸運でした。 どうもありがとうございました！！

Upon arrival, we were already wishing we booked more nights in Masahiro’s guest room. Very friendly host, super easy check in and check out, really nice neighborhood, and beautiful living space. Will hopefully be back soon!

丁寧に対応いただきました。設備も充分です。タオルが生乾き臭だったのがもったいなかったです。

I felt so welcome here. The host was both nice and helpful and if met when returning home, I was greeted with “Okaerinasai”

房東和諧友善，鄰近函館山纜車，步行可抵達，房東有提供租借電動腳踏車，對於背包客，非常有幫助

It was a great stay and I am very happy I found this place. Only thing I did not love was how thin the mattress was.

I had an amazing stay. The bus station is just next to the Hostel, very practical, and you can also walk towar the center. The Onsen is so nice and the hostel space too.
