Cabin vacation rentals in Hohentauern

We were very satisfied with our stay in the ground floor suite. The apartment is modernly furnished, beautifully maintained, and clean. It is as described in every way. The wifi is working perfectly. The location is quiet and there are many grass areas to walk around with puppies that are welcome in the suite. Accessibility to the slopes is great. The ski resort is just a few steps away, which is suitable for families with children. There is also a shop, a restaurant, a hotel with a pool, and a ski rental facility very close to the apartment. Daniel is a friendly and responsive host. We'll definitely be back.

It was one of the nicest places I have ever been. Boris is a wonderful host and gave us a very warm welcome and some drinks. The wooden house is so beautiful and fully equipped. It’s better than in de description. Highly recommend and I would love to come again.

Bianka's place was perfect all around. The place is very secluded - ideal if you are looking for peace & relaxation. The kitchen is fantastically equipped. In general, the house, the garden, sauna, hot tub and massage chair - simply a dream :) Small improvement requests: stronger outdoor lighting :)

Thank you very much! It was one of my best accommodations ever. The owner was so friendly, we felt very welcomed. The house itself is magical - nature all around and the hot tube and sauna! The facilities of kitchen are great - everything (even more) you wish: coffee machine and supplies for it, tea boiler even a smoothie maker. We even got a welcome basket! We had an amazing stay. Andrea is super nice and very responsive, the house is beautiful and just like on the pictures including a sauna and a hot pot. We will come back for sure.

We had a very nice time at the cabin. The two children enjoyed the animals & the many play opportunities on the outdoor area. It was all very clean and well maintained and even more beautiful than in the pictures. Thanks to the sauna and hot tub, we were able to relax well and the view was fantastic on all sides!

Actually, you could describe the accommodation as 2-3 residential units, because the bedrooms were spread over 3 levels. So you also enjoy a lot of privacy in group. Everything was very clean, kitchen well equipped. The only point that would be in need of improvement is a shower next to the sauna. For this you had to go back into the house and either go up or down a floor. But as I said, it is only a suggestion. Thanks for everything.

Even before arrival, all the important information was provided by the owner, the check-in was simple and contactless. We were answered super quickly and kindly with questions. All the important utensils were found in the cabin (wood for heating, bowls for dogs, dishes and everything necessary for cleaning). Through game boxes, binoculars, carving knives and the cozy submission, you immediately felt comfortable. During our stay from Friday to Sunday, the volume of the race track (Red Bull Ring) was noticeable every day, we did not know that it was so loud and next time we would inquire in advance whether events will take place or not. We were not aware that the secondary house is so close to us due to the pictures of the ad, but this was not inhabited during our stay and was therefore not disturbing. All in all, the stay was very relaxing and the area was very nice to explore, especially with dogs.

This was a great place to stay with our rental car. It was such a peaceful location and made exploring the surrounding area with a car so easy. Walking into the village of Hallstatt only took 10 minutes. We loved our stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at Romana's Hütte in Grundlsee! The cabin was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Nestled in peaceful and stunning natural surroundings, it was the perfect escape. The area itself is magnificent—ideal for anyone looking to relax or explore nature. Romana, the host, was kind and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

Andreas' log cabin is a beautiful place to stay and offers plenty of space for a family of four. Although we were only in Brettl for three nights, thanks to the great location, this short stay felt like a longer vacation. On the terrace, you can sit very comfortably, two large trees provide pleasant shade, and all around you are surrounded by beautiful nature. For children, the large meadow is ideal for romping around, and you can even visit the neighboring cows. There is plenty to discover in the area and numerous excursion options – for example, the Ötscher, Lake Lunz, a stalactite cave and several beautiful swimming areas. The host Andreas responds very quickly and very nicely to the messages. I'm sure we'll be back!

we stayed in the great hut for the second time and felt very, very comfortable again. It is quiet, with great views, right in nature and invites you to relax. We'd love to come a third time!

We were looking for a cozy mountain hut and found exactly that: a wonderful cottage with plenty of space, loving furnishings and great beds. The kitchen equipment also leaves nothing to be desired! The location and views are literally outstanding. It couldn't get any better!

Timea and her husband are very nice spontaneous lovely people who take you a lot into account. A cozy snapps and a chat was great ; at the same time considering our privacy. The bathroom and kitchen are separate from the cottage but that's no problem at all. What was also nice: the giant lawn where you can sit / lie in the sun all day if you want, but also in the shade. Then the river where you can swim ( with crocks on because of the stones in the water) . Hammock where you can lie down with your feet in the water!! You will hear traffic across the river. You could call that a drawback. But at night you don't suffer from it.. We had a great stay during this week!

We loved our stay in this charming little wooden cottage! The accommodation was impeccable, very clean and with all the essentials to feel good and cook. We were able to have our breakfasts every day in the sun on the terrace, what happiness! The accommodation is also very well located for exploring the surroundings, whether it's hiking, kayaking or rafting or just walking around beautiful lakes! Many thanks to Eveline who is a lovely host, very kind and very welcoming! We felt right at home and will be happy to come back!

It’s a homey, clean and sweet place. Despite the freezing weather we were never cold thanks to the floor heating. The quiet was also real nice after a day of sightseeing. I recommend staying here.

This place is truly the gem of Slovenia. I don't know which I could praise more, the home or the host. The house and surrounding area has everything you could possibly want and Žan, the host, really did a great job with providing guides and giving tips. The nature is exquisite, the air incredibly clean, the water clear and delicious - you feel healthier the moment you step foot here. There was obviously so much thought put into kitting out this home and Žan was an incredibly caring host that was in constant communication with us, ready to help and get us out of binds. Truly a great person to have when in a new country or region. We all loved every moment we spent here. As other guests mentioned the roads up to the house are not for the faint of heart, so please be careful. The beds were also hard on our backs so something to consider for guests with backpain, but with everything being cared for and regularly updated I'm sure the beds will also get an upgrade soon. Truly a 10/10!

Ute and her family were so kind and warm. Always available. Helpful with everything you needed, including leisure tips. The cottage was fantastically beautiful. The location as well. All in all, a dream. We'll be back.

Michael's house has kept everything it promised. Good amenities and great value for money. In the morning and evening, caretaker Harald checked to see if everything was okay - great guy! We had a lovely weekend in Paal!
