Monthly Rentals in Hoghiz

We enjoyed the stay in Irina's house. It was a great place either to visit Siebenbürgen or to explore the nature and the rural life. There are no real restaurants nearby but in village is a little shop. The kitchen has everything which is needed for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Internet worked really well and there was also the possibility to watch English spoken TV. If you'll stay longer there is also a laundry machine which could be used. Car can be parked safely on private place. Even if we do not speak any Romanian we could manage everything. Irina and Stefan know English very well. Our family (2 adults and 2 small kids) felt like home while staying at Casa Boierului Comanici (The House of Boyar Comanici) . This recently renovated Transylvanian mansion is a perfect blend of history and luxury, offering all the comforts of modern living. From the moment we arrived, Nicoleta - the host, made us feel incredibly welcome. Attentive and warm, she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Whether we needed recommendations for family-friendly activities, or help arranging breakfast at a local farm, the host was always ready to assist. Nicoleta also provided us with tips about local attractions (eg. Traditional Saxon festival), and hidden gems. The host's attentiveness and exceptional service (including arranging for a tire repair on a Saturday) enhanced our experience, making it not just a stay, but a memorable journey into the heart of Transylvania.

The cabin is in a very beautiful area. Very remote, quiet and peaceful, perfect for detaching. The host is very responsive, friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for things to visit in the nearby areas. There are some shops in a nearby village, but best come prepared with food. The pool and sauna were a very nice addition as well.

Lovely idyllic spot in the heart of Viscri village. We absolutely loved the atmosphere and it was a perfect location for a night's stay during our trip in Transylvania.
