Magnificent Surroundings safe for long exploratory walks. The beautiful barn with careful detail for comfort,delight and peace were a joy. We thoroughly loved every moment extending our stay from 2 to 5 days. We look forward to return visits to this unforgettable olive farm and all its products too.

Wonderful stay at Insika! Gill and Mike made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived - even bringing us dry fire wood after a huge downpour. The highlight for us was the river to cool off from the heat, and the padleski's to explore. Endless hours of fun for a 5yr old and dog. The accommodation was perfect for us - clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor showers were a lovely addition to the space, and highly appreciated in the heat we experienced! From collecting eggs in the morning for breakfast, walks on the farm, activities on the river, game spotting, braiing under the stars, to cooling off in the plunge tub - we couldn't have imagined a better weekend away.

Gerrit’s farm cottage on the hill was incredibly peaceful. Most amazing views and we felt super relaxed just chilling out at his place. A lovely place to stay and unwind for a few days quite close to Calitzdorp on the Groenfontein road. We had a lovely relaxing time thx Gerrit and looking forward to a longer visit in future Thoroughly recommend
