Guesthouse vacation rentals in Hobart City Council

We were looking for accomodation which had single beds. Thao’s listing suited our requirements. Hobart is a beautiful city.

Lovely, comfortable little cottage nicely furnished for a pleasant visit. Close to a nice village and well sited for touring Coal Valley vineyards and other activities. Felt right at home with a warm welcome by Rob and a fresh loaf of bread to accompany breakfast provisions. Looking forward to a return visit.

We had the most wonderful time here. Loved the place including the location. A beautiful, cosy space not too far from Hobart city. We would absolutely recommend this place. Natasha was responsive and proactive giving us all the information we needed but plus recommendations of things to do.

Such a wonderful stay, peaceful beautiful surroundings for all of us including our Labrador Gypsy. Amazing hosts cannot recommend more highly! We will be back again thank you so much Jon and Christine amazing week long stay ☺️☺️☺️

We had a wonderful time in the Boat House. The views are amazing, it’s very nice and quiet and the house is exactly as described. We would definitely book it again!

Very nice stay here. Super clean, well laid out and had everything we needed and more. Bed comfy, kitchen well equipped, bathroom big, loads of appliances. Could recommend more highly.

This was our second stay at Werndee Cottage, and we enjoyed our stay. The little courtyard is great for a quiet, relaxing time. The cottage is spacious, the bed very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped if guests wish to cook for themselves. Robyn is a lovely host.

The host also recommended some excellent restaurants nearby, which made dining out a breeze. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We loved the country setting and did the beautiful local bush walk the next morning. A very cosy room and quiet pocket of bush nearby with views of the ocean made our stay super. Much gratitude for Rosies extra pantry items and safe area to relax in. Thanks very much indeed, if we come to Tassie again we will most likely stop in to stay xx

Despite some mishaps from my part on certainty of plans, Hazel was nothing but kind and generous to me and my newly wedded wife! We brought our dog along too and she was very welcoming to us all. Having a complimentary cheese platter was already so kind, but Hazel also gave us sparkling bubbles to celebrate with which was so lovely! The space is cozy, comes with eazy eats, was absolutely comfortable, and accomodating to pets - all for a really great price! Would come again :)

Our stay was only for a night but everything was great! Beautifully clean, comfortable bedding and great view. Scott was very welcoming and friendly also which is always nice to see. 10/10 would recommend.

Lovely, well appointed Bungalow in an beautiful location. Deborah was friendly and a good communicator and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay - including recommendations for places to visit and eat. There were also some very sweet dogs who were very happy to see us, so we felt right at home. Would absolutely recommend for a relaxed stay in nature in gorgeous South Arm.

We loved our stay. Perfect location with beautiful walking track (rivulet) that gets you into the city minutes from the air bnb. Close to city and lots of things to do nearby. Very comfortable bed, heated bathroom floor and well stocked kitchen made us feel right at home.

Sol's place was a homely comfortable space to relax after exploring Mt Wellington. Some of the tracks are accessible right next to the accommodation. We really enjoyed playing the board games, and relaxing in lounge, dining area. Adequate heating that can be moved to whichever room you would like warm. Plenty of well placed essentials ( toilet paper / tissues). I really liked the automatic night lights and their placement. The accomodation and experience overall felt safe, clean and comfortable.

The views and garden area are amazing, 10/5 stars!!! We enjoyed our stay and the location makes it easy to explore south of Hobart as well as going into Hobart itself. It's also not that far to go to Bruny Island or Port Arthur for a daytrip. The house is good and has a few quirks to it. It's a bit unusual that the bathroom (which is very nice) can only be accessed via bedroom 2, we were three adults and it is strange for one to have to walk through the bedroom of the others to access the toilet. The washing machine was inside the other bedroom. It all works fine but something to be aware of for some groups of people. In summary, it is a lovely place for two people, and it worked ok for three. The location is great, close to Hobart and Kingston, walking paths are accessible from the house, and the views are indeed amazing, including wallabies and birds right next to the house!

We had a great stay at Gayle’s place. Very clean, comfortable and well-appointed and we liked the location in Sandford. The spacious gardens and play equipment for the kids an added bonus!

A lovely little place where I happily spent 3 weeks. Very comfortable and well appointed studio apartment in a quiet street only a short stroll to cafes/shops and a convenient walk into the CBD. Hosts, Margo & Mark. were extremely welcoming and accommodating.

We have stayed in airbnbs for over 10 years and this is hands down the best one we have ever stayed in! Pip & Pete the hosts were so amazingly kind and helpful, facilitated early check ins and late check outs for us and even shared a wine on the balcony with their gorgeous dog Boomer. The place was full of little touches that made our week long stay fly by. The place is magical and so private, perched overlooking mt Wellington amongst the Tassie bush with awesome amenities like a pool, sauna and picturesque tennis court. Couldn’t fault it. Unmissable if you’re travelling to Tassie!
