Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Hobart City Council

This was an absolutely superb stay. We would definitely come back and cannot fault it. The location is stunning, the home is beautiful and Karen is very responsive. We had a wonderful Easter long weekend at Hakari and felt right at home. It is spacious, serene and really inviting. Thank you to our lovely host.

Very cosy and nice place to stay within 10 minutes of Hobart city. Very peaceful and quiet, friendly neighbors and very responsive hosts! We enjoyed our stay here definitely!

Nice place, uphill in West Hobart. Built in the 1970s around a down slope block. The kitchen had reasonable implements and cutlery. There was a bath tub. The shower head is rainfall style low pressure. There are wallabies and pademelons wandering around the area at night. It’s not that far to walk to the Mount Stuart lookout.

This little spot at the top of Sandy Bay gives stunning views of Hobart that the pictures don’t fully capture. It’s close to local amenities, the Cascade brewery and downtown making it an excellent spot for a family trip.

I began to relax as soon as i heard the gentle flow of the water of the rivulet running through the property. A little peice of heaven in old Hobart - just beautiful!

This is a lovely cottage in the heart of North Hobart right near some fantastic eateries and breweries/wine bars. The cottage is quite spacious with a lovely back yard to sit out in and enjoy the garden. Salamanca is only a 30 min walk away (as is botanical gardens) and it’s a great hub to drive the tourist areas. For those travelling with a dog, there’s a dog park just a few blocks down, knocklofty summit walk in West Hobart is an 8 min drive away and a lovely bush walk where the locals go (off leash allowed morning and late afternoon), ‘Room for a pony’ just 2 mins walk away is dog friendly and has amazing pizzas. This is the perfect place to base yourself for a Tassie getaway. The bath is just a divine treat and the writers nook is a cute little place to read or write. Lounge room is very comfy and kitchen has everything you need. Washing machine is very handy. Off street parking is great as Hobart is predominately a paid parking system. Great stay. I’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Simon's place. Our hosts were excellent communicators and made us feel very welcome from start to end. The house itself is very beautifully presented with a lot thoughtful touches and lovely furnishings - dream home alert! The house was the perfect space for my family of 4 travelling with inlaws. My 3 year old absolutely adored the kids room and together with my 1 year old enjoyed the toys and TV room - which in turn provided us parents with a bit of quiet time! The inlaws appreciated the privacy of the second bedroom being on the other side of the house as well as gorgeous garden views. Views of the mountains and city from the garden and house really made the location quite special and the visiting wallabies need a mention here too! The facilities and little extras provided everything we needed and more. This really was a fabulous stay and we all would love to stay again.

Abby’s home was stunning. Exactly as described. The furnishings were so comfortable, the view was out of this world. We saw lots of wildlife too. Couldn’t recommend Abby/her home more. Truly an amazing location. We even cancelled dinners out to spend time watching the sunset. One of the best Air BnB’s we’ve ever stayed in!

Everything about Jo & her place was wonderful. I stayed twice during my visit to Tasmania & both times were equally great. The apartment itself has a little mix of antique & modern with lovely styling. The kitchen was well equipped, beds very comfortable & the view is incredible. We’ll definitely stay again if we return to Hobart

it was great staying at Louise's place! she really went above and beyond in welcoming us and the easter eggs were a bonus! the property was very clean and conveniently located to nearby shopping centre and a beach! we loved our stay!

Sarah was quick to respond and the accomodation was extremely cozy. Extremely relaxing location.

The wifi was too slow to surf internet during our stay. It need to be improved, please. However, the rest of our stay was very good. Thank you.

The place was so serene and exactly what I was looking for to recharge. Scottie was super responsive and was very warm. He even arranged to feed sheep and the place felt right at home but with a breathtaking view. Will definitely be coming back and probably staying longer

We had a great time and the shops and restaurants were closed by. The apartment had all we needed. We are happy to stay here again.

Angela was a very good communicator, very friendly when she greeted us on arrival. And communicated very well during our stay. The provisions Angela supplied surpassed what we expected and everything was lovely. Highly recommended Angela as a host for your requirements in and around the Hobart area.

This place is a must stay on any trip to Tassie. Clean and comfortable with a lot of extra touches added by Anna. We had an amazing time feeding the horses and goats and chilling in front of the fire place.

We had a lovely stay at Orchard’s nest for my partner’s 40th. It was really relaxing, beautifully furnished, the bed and linen were so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Absolutely recommend for a place to relax and reset.

Craig is a friendly and welcoming host and came to welcome us after we arrived. Our accommodation was brand new and spotlessly clean. The chalets are beautifully designed both inside and out and there are wonderful views to Fluted Cape on Bruny Island The artwork reflects Craig's passion: rescuing injured raptors and returning them to the wild. it is well worth making an appointment to visit the raptor centre during your stay. There are plenty of attractions locally and we enjoyed the cliff top walk in Coningham Reserve. The IgA in nearby Snug is excellent for groceries etc. We thoroughly recommend a stay here. An absolutely beautiful place in a beautiful location. Sonia and Jeff very clearly care about their guests having a fantastic experience, which is evident by the way they've presented their place. Would absolutely visit again, loved it!

We had a very relaxing three day stay at Fairy Wren’s Nest. The welcome tea and generous amount of breakfast were provided at arrival which was very nice. Great location to visit the southern part of Huon region. Highly recommended for those who want to experience the country style stay in a quiet surrounding.

Christine was an excellent host, she was very welcoming and made us feel at home. My partner was unwell and was very helpful with chemists etc. The property is beautiful, i just wish we could of enjoyed it more. Thankyou
