Excellent host and really helpful. Great property with plenty of space including a games room. There isnt loads to do near by but we walked 20 mins to a pub for food and some drinks one night which was doable and had a take away one night. There is a closer pub just opposite but wasn’t serving food in the evening. Really convenient for Alton Towers. My only complaint is one toilet for 7 of us was a problem particularly in the mornings and there was going to be 9 of us which would of been a nightmare. The second bathroom really needs a toilet to make the house more manageable with so many people staying and needing to use the toilet. Lovely weekend, great cottage and excellent host

Lynley and Matt’s place accommodated a large family of 7, 2 children and 3 dogs perfectly! Lots of space, big spacious rooms, private and secure garden and big driveway! We came to stay due to a family funeral and wanting a hub to base ourselves but also accommodate seeing family and spending time together. The place is very well thought out, clean, spacious and perfect for a family get away. Lynley and Matt are super responsive hosts, really understanding of our situation and very accommodating. Definitely recommend this place!

James was a very good and responsive host. Communication, directions etc. were spot on! The house was great. There were 6 of us in total - all adults. We did have a problem with a blocked toilet but James had this fixed quickly. There are 3 toilets in total so not a big problem. One star lost on cleanliness rating. On arrival there were crumbs across the dining table and a tea cup stain which we wiped away. Also, could have done with a towel in the downstairs bathroom. We also only had 1 tea towel which was done very quickly. We borrowed from family. Also, a lack of extra pillows meant we had to borrow cushions from the sofas. All very minor problems. I still felt it was value for money and would certainly book again next time we visit family in Nottingham

we had a lovely few days at Paul's place, perfectly place for us to visit my son and his new baby ....comfortable and homely. would recommend to anyone.

We have stayed at Melanie’s comfortable & well equipped lovely home many times and always have a great stay. It is in a peaceful setting but well placed for easy access to all restaurants & tourist attractions in Stratford-upon-Avon & surrounding area. Highly recommended.

Lovely and cosy, very warm, the surroundings were beautiful even though it is winter, would be so lovely in the summer, the host Ant & Chloe were Extremely helpful and very quick to respond to a little niggle that we had, would definitely recommend and would book again. Many thanks to the hosts

Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!

We had a fantastic midweek break here as a base for visiting family in Northampton. Caravan was perfect for us very well equipped, comfy beds and spacious. Excellent hosts communicated throughout and thank you for the welcome hamper. Great location with loads of walks on site and surrounding. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

An amazing place, loads of space, carved up beautifully into separate kitchen (with huge larder, and utility room with chef's oven) massive dining room, same size lounge but very cosy, with all the bedrooms and en-suites you would need, even a separate annexe if needed too. An indoor heated swimming pool, with showers, changing rooms and a separate entrance off the beautiful garden tops it off! Great location for dog walks, and the local pub, coffee shop and convenience store, this is a must stay!

Our weekend was absolutely amazing, the caravan is very comfortable, clean & in a lovely location, would definitely highly recommend

Lauren’s place was a lovely place and perfect for my young family. She had it set up for my baby daughter with the cot, high chair and bath for shower which was a massive help. The caravan was very clean with plenty of room and had everything we needed. Communication with Lauren was excellent. We would definitely look to stay there again.

A real hideaway, very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The surrounding landscape is lovely and The Lodge has views over both the church and the yurts. Sarah was always available to communicate with online and in person which made the whole trip feel friendly and meant that we learned the best places to eat! The hot tub was fab. There is a lovely farm with cafe just over the road and good pubs to eat at. We visited both Calke Abbey and Kedleston Hall whilst there, both well worth the visit.

We came up from Bournemouth to visit family and Rob and Nikki's place was lovely and homely and exactly as described. We felt right at home there and will be booking again for Christmas.

This was a great place! It had everything you need and is exactly as the photos. The place was very cozy and comfortable. Tracy is a great host! She always made sure we had everything we needed and always responded immediately. She was very welcoming. She even left the heater on for us to welcome us in a warm home on our first day. There was also some milk coffee and basic things like that kept ready for us when we came in. That made our day 1 very easy as we had come from a long travel. I would definitely recommend this place 10/10. You wont be disappointed at all! 😇
