Wow just wow! From the moment we made contact with Eranga we were so well looked after. Even before we got to the wonderful house we were had our transport organised to take our family of 5 from Colombo Airport to the AirBNB we were then helped with settling in and greeted with coconuts. Whether it was hire cars, recommendations for activities such as releasing baby turtles into the ocean Eranga was our guy! The house itself has everything you need and is spacious clean and tidy thanks to daily visits from lovely helpers around the house and garden. Air Conditioning is amazing and works really well. The ocean is steps away from the house which is situated in a surfers area. Make sure you visit the Sandbank restaurant for well priced food, music and Thursday night ping pong tournament. Peacocks running in the garden and the friendliest dog ever. We loved this place and would return in a heartbeat! Thank you for making our Sri Lanka trip so memorable. Just amazing!

Wonderful spacious place with fresh renovation and mesmerizing ocean view. Very easy to to contact your host and staff. Lots of places around, 1 minute to the ocean. There is a minimum set of detergents - shower gels and shampoos. Clean enough, but the kitchen is starting to feel a little musty. For this season, it can look a little expensive and I want to expect more details at this price category - slippers, bathrobes, toothbrushes, more towels, shaving accessories, but these are more points for improvement, still this is an apartment, not a hotel. 11/10 :)

This is an amazing union with the ocean… We loved it…! Leaving the villa you find yourself right on the wide endless beach… There are not many people, the view is gorgeous…! We recently stayed at this stunning villa and couldn’t be more impressed. Waking up to this breathtaking view every morning was such a pleasure The villa itself was very stylish, and has all the necessities for a good stay, including even some funniest like boarding games :) It is very good located closento Welligama and Ahangama (5-10 minutes drive with Tuk Tuk), right close to the outstanding restaurant the Cliff. The host was very responsive and helpful with all our questions We had a very good time there and would definitely like to come back and soak this energy again

This villa is an ideal base for exploring the western coast of Sri Lanka. Hikkaduwa is just a 5–10 minute tuk-tuk ride away, and Galle is about 40 minutes away. The owners live in the same building and did their best to make sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

We have just got home after our trip to the Tropical Beach House in Hikkaduwa. What a totally lovely time away. Great communication with Gavin prior to the visit and out in touch with Darmith (house keeper) and taxi transport for arrival. We arrived at 2am to be met by Darmith and Saji (security) and felt at home straight away. Darmith had collected fridge essentials before we arrived so we were set up for the following morning. The house and gardens are lovely, the sound of the ocean 24/7 is just perfect and the house was spotlessly clean with good facilities. Sangrita helped to provide us with Sri Lankan breakfast foods, loved the Dahl curry and the hoppers but also gave us an awesome Brit breakfast of eggs and bacon! Chandra was on hand at night to cook a bbq which was tasty and varied. We used Tuk tuks to get out and about during our stay which were easy to find. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. Lots of local bars and eateries along the beach or further into Hikkaduwa.

Place was amazing. Great set up on the beach, relaxing backyard with a pool, hammock, table, and lounge chairs to relax in. They have a great staff that was very attentive, breakfast and cleanup daily. Pool guy came every single day to keep the pool fresh n clean. Beach was huge, great waves, and nice restaurants/bar within walking distance from the house. Interior was well kept, nice design, showers were incredible, & beds all very comfortable. Overall experience was 10/10 we can't wait to come back.

Don't expect luxury. This home is basic but at the same time very charming. 10 meters to the beach. The days we stayed here you could not swim in the ocean due to large waves. Close proximity to Hikkaduwa center and see turtles. The accommodation is arranged with bbq grill (fish) on the beach which was very much appreciated!
