The Old Chilli House apartment is an amazing and well designed place. From the moment that I stepped inside, I already felt at home. Everything is beautifully arranged, super clean and attention has been put to detail. Enough space is also given, the apartment even has a walk in closet. I absolutely loved the balcony and the whole vibe of the apartment. It is away from the hustle and bustle. On top, Kris and his family are perfect hosts, and the breakfast was great. Kris is a super friendly, funny and energetic guy, that really cares about his guests! Highly recommended place 😀!

Danuka was a great host, very flexible with check in/out times and let us drop our bags off early. Helped us rent scooters and even source a lost parcel. Thanks for a great stay

The Apartment is really nice. Especially because it is located directly next to a beautiful beach. As a guest there are also two daybeds at the beach that can be used for free. The apartment has a big terrace with nice views towards the beach, on which we enjoyed our breakfast and playing card games in the evening. The host was also really nice and he provided us with very useful advice for local restaurants, attractions etc. All in all we had a very nice time at this place.

We had a great stay here. Every time we come to Galle this is where we will stay. We not only enjoy this host we have stayed with this host multiple times and we have only positive things to say. We look forward every time to checking in that we arrive and have a wonderful time. We cannot stress enough how beautiful the property is and how responsive the hosts are to provide anything for the guests.

Ruwan ist ein überaus lieber Mensch der sehr darum bemüht ist, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Die Unterkunft sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Alles war sehr sauber. Es gab einen Kühlschrank voll mit kostenlosem Wasser. Frühstückszeiten waren nach Absprache, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Das Frühstück hätte ein bisschen mehr variieren können (es gab jeden Tag das Gleiche). Ruwan organisierte uns den Transport zur nächsten Unterkunft zum Uber Preis. Und der Fahrer war auch sehr nett. Wir haben einen Ausflug zu den Schildkröten und nach Galle zusammen mit Ruwan gemacht, den ich mir ehrlich gesagt etwas anders vorgestellt hatte. Ich dachte er ist so etwas wie ein Touri Guide der uns auch Informationen an die Hand gibt, aber er hat uns lediglich gefahren. Dafür empfand ich den Preis als etwas zu hoch. Aber es war dennoch sehr schön und eine gute Idee. Wir bereuen es nicht 4 Nächte bei Ruwan verbracht zu haben und können es guten Gewissens empfehlen. Gerne wieder dort.

We have stayed in around 180 Airbnbs and this is stand out one of the best! THE most fully equipped property we have ever come across, with all sorts of unexpected items such as mosquito repellent coils, filtered water, cooking oils and first aid kit! Eva and her manager, Tharush were amazingly friendly and accommodating. 5 star service and facilties to match! Can't recommend this place enough.

We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

My partner and I spent three glorious weeks in this beautiful home. It’s an effectively utilized small space that’s incredibly comfortable, very clean and easy to live in. The kitchen was well equipped to cook all our meals, the AC was a treat in the bedroom and the balcony is such a serene spot to have breakfast or do some work throughout the day. The home is close walking distance to everything we needed including shops, markets, the beach and the gym. Vaas and his wife Nadisha are gracious and wonderful hosts, truly making us feel at home and treating us to home made cooking or inviting us to celebrate national holiday traditions with them. We are forever grateful and would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay here was comfortable and pleasant. The host was so kind and generous. Harshani even went out of her way to prepare breakfast and lunch for us which was delicious and homely. We felt right at home at the stay. The stay is 4mins walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The host was very responsive and the stay looks just like in the pictures -clean. Highly recommend this stay!

Ich habe in dieser Wohnung 5 Wochen während meines Krankenhaus-Praktikums gewohnt und bin sehr zufrieden mit der Lage, Sauberkeit und dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gewesen. Chandra und ihr Mann sind gastfreundliche, ruhige Vermieter, die jederzeit gut zu erreichen waren. Ich habe mich hier sehr sicher gefühlt. Diese Wohnung eignet sich für kurze und lange Aufenthalte in Galle. Mit dem Bus sind das Stadtzentrum und Unawatuna schnell zu erreichen und für das Krankenhaus in Karapitiya habe ich jeden Tag ein Tuktuk für umgerechnet 1,50€ genommen. Der nächste Strand ist zu Fuß in 5 min zu erreichen und perfekt zum schwimmen und für Surfanfänger geeignet. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Mega Unterkunft, wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Der Host war super freundlich und immer für einen da! Sehr sauber, Klimaanlage, warmes Wasser, starkes Wifi und eine tolle küche! Würden von den Host noch zu einem Dinner eingeladen. Vielen Dank! Gerne wieder. Eine der besten Unterkünfte in 3 Wochen Sri Lanka!

Un logement impeccable avec grande cuisine équipée, SDB impeccable, jardiner et balcon privatif ! Le logement est à proximité de nombreux restaurants, café et commerce. À 5 min à pied des plages et des écoles de surf. Donc c’est vraiment pratique. L’hôte très accueillant, très gentil, il nous a aider pour les taxis ! Je recommande vraiment ce logement pour deux ou quatre personnes.

Great stay at Villa Valentina! Communication with Madhura was always friendly and quick. The housekeeper was very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Would definitely come back!

This place was brilliant. It was spacious, very clean, had great ac and a powerful ceiling fan. It is so close for places to eat and five mins from the beach. I would highly recommend this room. The host was also very communicative and helpful.

Kurz und knapp, perfekte Unterkunft. Ruhige Lage, 5 Minuten zu fuß ins Zentrum und an den Beach. Sehr nette Vermieter und immer hilfsbereit. Absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

一个大庄园，环境非常别致优美，里面有椰林，芒果树，杨桃树……地段也非常棒，紧邻海边，服务非常热情，宾至如归，也非常个性化，因为去观鲸回来晚了，多给我们一间房子延迟退房。可惜在酒店呆的时间还不够多，没有足够时间享受这么美好的环境。非常推荐。

처음에 구글 지도가 길을 어렵게 안내해줘서 약간 헤매기도 했지만, 너무 멋진 공간의 숙소를 보고 기분이 좋아졌습니다. 히카두와 메인 비치와는 조금 떨어져있었지만 툭툭이로 이동이 좋았고, 아주 멋진 숲 길과 해변을 동시에 느낄 수 있는 곳이었습니다. 매우 친절한 가족과 웰컴 코코넛 주스와 밀크티, 그리고 약간의 간식에서 스리랑카의 친절함과 상냥함을 다시금 느낄 수 있었습니다. 잠시 들러가는 여정이었기에 하루밖에 머물지 못했지만 너무 편하고 즐겁게 있다 갈 수 있어 다행입니다.

Patrick is a great host who will help you with everything. He arranged a transfer for us to a villa, chose the best room for our needs and help with every query we had. He's always around when you need him and respects your privacy at the same time. The place is amazing for digital nomads (or people who would like to come here just to rest). Great wi-fi speed on every floor and at every place. We didn't need to be afraid of power cuts because of the generator which worked perfectly. The villa has an amazing view of the lake with a lot of palm trees with monkeys just next to you. Very nice pool which you can use 24/7 with fancy lights when it's dark. You can order tasty food at a very good price, which will be delivered to your laptop or to a place where you're chilling. Very good coffee (important especially for developers). The villa is away from the main road but at the same time just a 5-10 min bike/tuk-tuk ride from the market/wine store/atm. You would have 10 min walk to a beautiful beach where you can buy coconuts or pineapples. Surf rental is just a few steps from there. People here are friendly and helpful. Sunil (who helps Patrick) can arrange a bike rental or anything you would need. Just come to experience it!

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!
