From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle calms down, and it is a season when you can enjoy the quiet of Shinshu. During the day, go to the mountains and highlands, and at night, enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and the starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino, Hakuba, and Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or for extended periods. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe is also good, and it can accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays. With a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, it's also comfortable for extended stays. You can come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours one way. For groups of 5 or more, please consult in advance because we can arrange a rental car. There are still openings on weekdays in September. It is also recommended for student trips in the latter half of summer vacation, as well as for couples and small groups.

Matsumoto has many places with delicious spring water from the mountains.There is a rental bottle, so please enjoy a drink while walking around the city. We use environmentally friendly detergents that take into consideration the nature of Matsumoto. Gofu, a location limited to one group per day with a beautiful view of the Northern Alps and countryside

We only host one group per day. Part of the building is the host couple's room, so the entire building is not for rent.However, the privacy of your accommodation area is fully ensured. The neighborhood is a very quiet area dotted with fields and homes, and you can hear the birds singing in the morning. There are many sightseeing spots such as production direct markets, hot springs, and cycling roads nearby, so I recommend staying overnight. You can also go on a day trip to Kamikochi and Hakuba. It is surrounded by a quiet residential area, so please refrain from chatting loudly outside.Smoking is prohibited both inside the building and on the premises.Thank you for your cooperation. Parking is available for up to 2 regular cars. You can also rent bicycles (up to 3). If you come by train, the nearest station is Toyoshina Station on the JR Oito Line.From there, it is a 15-minute taxi ride, which costs around 2,000 yen.Please note that we do not provide a pick-up service. 　 An accommodation tax was introduced in Nagano Prefecture on June 1, 2026.An accommodation tax of 200 yen per person per night will be levied, and from June 1, 2029, it will be 300 yen.

Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
