Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Hiawassee

I've stayed at many Airbnb homes and this was one of the nicest homes I've stayed in. There were great views of the lake, awesome amenities, and comfortable accommodations. The hosts were easy to communicate with also. Everyone on the trip would have enjoyed staying longer just because of the amazing accommodations. The home was very close to Hiawassee and easy to get to.

Wow. Beautiful. This place was so clean it took my breath away almost as much as the views! The porch, the property, the yard, it was all perfect. I can’t wait to come back to this peaceful, quiet place and bring my big doggie girl. We’ve stayed in “pet friendly” places before. Often they smell pet friendly. This place smells like nothing. The best smell EVER. It doesn’t smell like someone is covering up what you could imagine pet stays would need to conceal. It was just like being in our own home. Easy to fine, climate control easy to use, lots of windows, plenty of parking, and home was easy to access. Love, love, love.

The house was exactly as pictured and spotlessly clean. The exterior and lawn was really well maintained and it was so nice spending time outside. The house was well-stocked and everything worked perfectly. Elizabeth’s house met all expectations. You will not regret booking!

Cathy was a superlative host. She made me feel right at home while also giving clear instructions regarding check-in and check-out. The farmhouse is commodious and comfortable. I especially appreciated the big kitchen, outdoor space, and abundance of linens! My family and I had a wonderful time here and will surely stay again if/when we return to lovely Blairsville.

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

Beautiful, amazing and perfect for a getaway with friends or romantic stay. Architecturally stunning. Great example of mid-century modern with lots of cut outs, glass and details. Not for the mobile challenged (stairs and a bit of a walk from the car parking) and lots of glass (you give some privacy with other house mates) so if that is not your thing, I wouldn't recommend it. Very quiet except when you open the doors to the waterfall. First day, some water cascading over but after a rain it was all white and mesmerizing. Beds are small but very comfortable. I was able to cook some great meals and they had a lot of items you don't always have, like aluminum foil. Took the hosts recommendation for a vineyard (distillery was the highlight) and a stop in Toccoa, GA. Just book it and enjoy.

I decided to book a last-minute getaway—literally on the day of my 30th birthday—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. It was me, my wife, our two kids (11 and 5), and my mom. We were completely stressed trying to get out of the house, but the moment we arrived, all of that melted away. This was, hands down, our best Airbnb stay to date. The house was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly welcoming. The pool was a huge hit—so much so that we had to practically drag the kids out of it! The lake view was absolutely stunning, and everyone loved their rooms. There’s honestly nothing negative I can say about our experience. The location is perfect—just 5 minutes down the road is Hiawassee Brew, where we enjoyed a great lunch and some local beers. Despite the peaceful setting, you're not isolated at all—there’s even a Dollar General a minute away for any quick needs. Oh, and the Wi-Fi? Solid! The hosts were fantastic: easy check-in, super responsive, and very accommodating

The house was everything we'd hoped it would be. All 8 guests were thrilled with the entire experience. The house was awesome, with every detail provided for. Our host, Priscilla, was super responsive during the handful of times I needed to reach out to her. The view of the lake and surrounding mountains was stunning! The bedrooms are spread out enough for privacy for all of us. We would definitely come back, and hope that Priscilla is still the host for this amazing property!

This place was amazing, highly recommend! We were able to roam around on their 92 acres care free, and we visited some local shops. The host was so amazing to talk to and told me a little bit about the land and history which always makes things so much more personal. We are planning a trip back as we speak. It's so nice to be away from the hustle but still have such amazing things to do around the area.

Very unique place with more fresh eggs than you can eat and take home. Steve meets you when you arrive which nice to meet the host who is full of information and recommendations. We felt very much at home there. The location is central to the most beautiful water falls and hiking trails in North Georgia. I think we could live there. Can't wait to go back.

Great location and convenient to area restaurants, events, etc. This was our second visit and we look forward to staying here the next time we're in town. The space is clean, quiet and fun to explore.

This cute little downstairs apartment was perfect for our anniversary trip! It’s a great space for two people to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We spent our mornings on the porch swing drinking coffee and at night would head into town to eat at the recommended restaurants. The place was cute, homey, and had amazing views of the mountains!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Wally was very helpful and very kind and we loved staying there. It was a beautiful place! For the price I highly recommend! I will definitely stay again if I have to go back to Tennessee!

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

I enjoyed staying at this quiet and peaceful place. It was neatly kept, clean, and comfortable. Dave and Barb were great, and I also enjoyed meeting Beans! Thank you for a wonderful place to stay during my trip.

This place was a dream, my husband and I loved every minute of our stay! The only thing we wish changed was the length of the trip! We should’ve stayed longer!

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely return should the situation arise where we could come back to the Helen, GA area. I loved how close it was to lots of hiking trails and also the gorgeous Chatahootchie river. The views outside of the home were amazing as we watched the cows graze each morning.

Definitely a FIVE STAR stay!!! The property and the house are beautiful!!! Loved the porch with the overhead heaters and the fluffy warm blankets provided for relaxing on the porch serenaded by the babbling creek!!! All remotes and switches were well labeled. The blankets and sheet were so soft and smelt lovely ( would actually like to know what fabric softner they use ... my fleece blankets never come out that nice lol). Kitchen was well stocked. The washer/dryer was a nice feature though I did not actually use them. The site was rural enough for great privacy yet close enough to amenities for convenience. The locals we met in the area were all such pleasant people. They had the wonderful accents and politeness that the south is noted for!!! Above the Nest is a wonderful place to stay in Blue Ridge! It is quiet, serene, and has a gorgeous view. You won’t want to leave! Kitchen is stocked nicely as well. We will be back!

This is our second stay here and we loved it again! It’s an adorable space and the location on the river is so peaceful. Tons of hiking to explore nearby. Hosts were helpful and responsive. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay at the cabin. The porch and hot tub were our favorite, but the master bedroom and bathroom were nice as well. It was just the quiet weekend we needed.
