Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hiawassee

We needed a quiet weekend away and this cabin was perfect. Loved the hot tub on the deck under the stars.

Gorgeous views, great location, the hot water was actually hot (unlike other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in), the hot tub was ready to go, the host left us snacks. It was just such a wonderful experience. We will be coming back. If I had to pick ANY cons, I’d be really reaching. You are one of four yurts (we didn’t realize we would have “neighbors” but it’s set up in such a way that you still have privacy.). Also, you are close to the road so occasionally you will hear cars, but the sound of the river much overpowers that. Plan for no reception; we were fine with that. We plan to come back again with 2 more couples. I will definitely miss falling asleep to the sound of the river Now, what I wish I would have known as a car geek - we accidentally went through Tail of the Dragon on the way there. Had no idea it was here. Was sad to have a big ole SUV riding that instead of my sports car! Plan accordingly. :)

We had such a great time. This cabin is so spacious, clean and the beds are super comfy!! Would deflee stay again!!! :)

Very central to Helen, just walk out of the door and Town is a 5 minute walk. The neighborhood was quiet in the evenings.

Our family of 10 adults, xl dog, and 3 children had a great time. The home was beautiful and had plenty of space for each of us. The game room downstairs was a great place to entertain everyone, and both upstairs living rooms were perfect for family activities. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and easily accommodated our family. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook 3 meals a day. The house is close enough to fun activities that you don’t have to drive for hours to hike or shop, but far enough away you felt like you were in a cozy cabin in the woods. Craftsmanship of the home was impressive.

Such a beautiful and peaceful cabin! Prefect location and the hot tub by the creek was the cherry on top to a great getaway!

Very cute cabin and very clean even being pet friendly it was spotless. We traveled with our dog and he loved it too. Exactly as described. Very peaceful location. Laura was a wonderful host. She was great at communicating. She made everything so easy from check in to check out. Would absolutely stay here again. Not one single negative.

This cabin was a cozy and relaxing place to stay. It was very clean and very comfortable. The outdoor fire pit, along with the hot tub was an amazing place to relax and unwind. Would definitely return!

We always love our stays at the Black Beary Cabin! It honestly feels like we’re walking into our second home. Kelly’s place has everything as described and she is extremely responsive if we have questions about anything. Even if it’s asking about a great place to eat or a cool spot to hike, she is always willing to make sure that you have the best time! We can’t wait to go back again this summer!

Sandra was very responsive and easy to work with. The cabin was private and way up high on the mountain for great views. It was such a peaceful place and a great place to relax.

The cabin has a cozy feeling and is located nice and secluded at the end of a neighborhood, with plenty of privacy. Due to the weather we did not get to enjoy the outside but the bonfire looks like a great place to sit outside with family or friends. When booking, we didn’t realize the upstairs bedroom does not have a door, although this did not bother us because it was just my wife and I. We would go definitely come back here. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

My dog usually barks at anything that moves. She found peace and quiet. Not even a whimper all night. That was her first time away from home and that was an absolute plus for us.

Such a charming, peaceful and comfortable place, and definitely lives up to its name…can’t get better views than this! Host was very responsive, helpful and friendly, and even checked on us the morning after a bad storm the night before. Highly recommend this host and place, and would definitely love to visit again!

This is the best location! Right in the center of Clarksville. Easy walk to all the little shops. Great place to stay while in N. Georgia.

I needed a place to stay for a night in my parent’s hometown. I’m so thankful I found this place, close to my parent’s home, and close to the park. I kept thinking how ideal of an apartment it would be if it was available and you needed to live in the area. The space was probably the most comfortable sofa I’ve ever sat on and my dog was happy there too. The host was exceptional and flexible with me with check in and out times. I did have to book last minute with the host. I’ll definitely suggest this place again to my fellow friends out of state.

We thoroughly enjoyed Matthew and Beverly’s Loft. It was perfect! Very peaceful with magnificent views! This was our first AirBNB stay and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We plan to come back to this loft again.

Great location! Small cozy guest house. Parking spot was tight for our large 2500 but we made it work. Recommendations were great.

This has been yet another amazing stay!! We have reserved this Air B&B for 3 years now and each time Nina has provided an incredible and hassle free experience. Full of amenities, a complete kitchen arrangement, a quiet driveway and amazing views, this Air B&B has countless things to compliment and I’m happy to say we will continue using it as long as we can <3 It has gone from a vacation home to an ACTUAL home, just far away from our regular one.

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids. The house was comfortable with plenty of room and fantastic views of the lake below and the mountains that surrounded us. Easy to get into Murphy for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Chop House!! We will book this house again!

Instructions were clear. Owner responded quickly and helpful with any issue I had. Very friendly. Also it’s a very private and makes you feel at home. The entire cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed!!

We loved the cabin! It was just as described. It was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely bring a different vehicle next time, had a little bit of a hard time maneuvering on the mountain roads to get up to the cabin. Steep downhill and inclines. We were having our family Christmas get together and was so happy that the house was still beautifully decorated for Christmas. That made our gathering extra special! The house was perfect for our group!

My family loved the place & said it was one of the best they'd stayed in. It was too cold to use the pool, but the hot tub was great! There are neighbors but you'd never know it due to the woods surrounding the property. The bunkhouse/game room is ideal for a family with kids! Thank you for a great stay.
