Vacation rentals with a pool in Heysham

Lynda is a brilliant host and had tea, coffee, milk and fruits ready for us before we arrived. The place was very clean and felt like home. Kids loved the place and the board games. The icing on the cake is the location as, it is next to Ocean edge. She responded promptly for any questions we had. We have enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return back if we visit surrounding places. Thank you very much for hosting us Lynda, we had a great time.

We had such a fabulous stay at Carole’s place in Warton. The lodge was immaculate and so well equipped with everything we needed. The location was quiet, private and set around a lovely small lake. 30 minute drive to Windermere and 15 minutes to Lancaster. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

Everything was exactly as we wanted and those little extras, kitchen roll, washing liquid, tea and coffee were very welcoming. Clear instructions, wifi and tv, all one could want at an home away from home.

This was the perfect place for exploring Kendal and the surrounding Lakes. We parked the car on the drive and didn’t move it for our entire stay, choosing to walk and use the very handy public transport to get around instead. We arrived at the spotlessly clean and very well equipped house around 3, then had a lovely sunset walk up to Kendal Castle before using the amazing lounge for a family games night - loads of room on the coffee table and very comfy sofas! The next day we caught the 555 bus to Windermere for £3, it took a very scenic 30 minutes and we had an amazing day exploring Windermere and Bowness before returning to use the pool and hot tub at the hotel 2 minutes away, then using amazing kitchen facilities to cook a family meal and have have a poker tournament! On our final full day we packed some lunch and had a walk to Scout Scar - amazing views. We then had the one of best meal’s we’ve had at Pappy’s Texas BBQ - would definately recommend booking in advance. Amazing!

Family of 4 stayed 3 nights in October 2024 and it was just what we needed. Had some beautiful long walks along the beach. The caravan was home from home, clean and cosy. It had everything you could want for cooking a simple breakfast to Sunday Roast. Clean and respectful surroundings around the park. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The hobbit house was very spacious, clean, modern and loved the overall decor. We felt comfortable and at home here. Lovely bed with the skylight, and comfy chairs to chill and watch TV. The kitchen was easy to use! Absolutely loved the hot tub, it felt private and the surroundings was so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the pool, it was lovely and warm for us and we had it all to ourselves! The host Michael was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us around, he ensured we felt right at home. He also recommended some places to visit and where to eat/drink in the area too. He was flexible and happy for us to use our hot tub and the pool at any hour. When we mentioned we’d forgotten our speaker for music, he kindly let us borrow his which was so kind, and we really enjoyed it! Overall, a great place to stay and we would definitely come here again, thank you!
