The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

A wooden deck extends toward the horizon, offering sweeping views of the calm river and distant ocean. The shoreline is visible, meeting the water's edge, while a gentle green landscape frames the scene. Soft blue skies tower above, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host and owner were both very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and comfortable, and had everything you would need for your stay. We worked remotely from here and the setup was perfect. It was very accessible to the lagoon for kitesurfing. Also had a nice big area for washing kiting gear.

This apartment is sooo spacious and well equipped! There was basically nothing more we needed! The apartment was spotless as well and we felt right at home! I must commend Carla on her amazing communication pre and post visit. She always responded and helped advise on places. She also made sure everything was okay throughout the stay and was never a bother - we had a true VIP experience. Thank you! Definitely worth it to book!

Elda was very responsive from our first message that we sent. She checked in regularly to make sure that our stay was going well. Edith was also very helpful. There were many recommendations from restaurants to things to do around Stillbaai. The house was perfect for two families as they have two separate sleeping areas so a lot of privacy.
