The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

Beautifully restored to expose some of its original stonework, this cottage sleeps 4. On the ground floor a main bedroom and separate bathroom. Loft room with 2 single beds, not suitable for young children. Kitchen, living and dining area is spacious and open-plan, fully equipped and fitted with a cast-iron fireplace for winter. Slightly elevated, boasting views of the river from its undercover patio- ideal for birdwatching. Access to river jetty a short walk down through the farms olive grove.

Bronze Grove Farm - River Indlu

At Bronze Grove Farm and Chalets we encourage you to wonder around and absorb the natural earthy pleasures of farm life. The farm is situated at the foothills of the Langeberg Mountain Range and incorporates part of the famous Tradouw Pass and is 3 kms from the quaint little village of Barrydale. We are a working farm concentrating on olives. We hand harvest and produce extra virgin cold pressed olive oil and bottled olives. We have introduced zebra and various antelope that roam freely.

Bokkrans Game Reserve - Unit 3

Bokkrans is a game farm located between Riversdale and Still Bay. Accommodation is available in 3 self-catering units and an African style thatch hut which offers accommodation for up to 15 guests. A swimming pool, deck and BBQ facilities are available for guests. The deck is a communal area with Satellite TV, pool table and darts for guests to enjoy. Activities available such as 4x4 routes, game viewing, bird watching, hiking, mountain biking, kids farm experiences and a play park.

Rose Cottage is a stand alone century old farm cottage made postcard-perfect by the milieu of flowers, horses, green fields, dramatic mountains and adjacent farm dam. Newly redecorated, featuring a luxury double bed, two single beds and a sofa bed. Fireplace in the open plan living/kitchen area. Wi-Fi, TV and USB with movies! Outside Braai and seating. The Far Side- Wooden Cabin is a charming cabin offering two cosy rooms, with 1 double and 1 single beds making it an ideal escape for couples, small families, or friends. A Kitchen with a small bar fridge, Gas stove and Oven, Outside is the Firepit a favorite place for guests to chill out and a dinning room space. A basic shower and toilet, all very very rustic and characterful by no means glamping and is priced accordingly.
