Lovely and simple. Easy beach access with ocean views from the balcony/braai area and nearby restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended.

My family had a fantastic 3 nights in your accomodation and found ourselves loving your family friendly house.We did have 1 small hiccup with one of the drains being block but after a phone call was sorted out very quickly by a plumber.A very happy clean and lovely place and would highly recommend.

Amazing place with incredible views & good facilities. We loved using the pizza oven and brai, also the kayaks, and Phiri kindly let us use the washing machine too. The kitchen has so much storage space and two big fridges (although missing a few simple useful things like a colander). Great place, with lots of space for 6 people. Loved it.

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

Wow! Nostalgia much! It felt like my childhood home. Wooden floors, spacious kitchen and a large wooden table in the braai room. Amazing gas stove! Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. Madileen was extremely helpful and even directed us to a local market which we visited twice. The wood guy was literally three houses down the road. Close enough to walk to the waterfront and beach. Modern bathroom and spacious bedroom. Our favorite spot was the braai room. We played games and had a lovely fire going. Our car was under a carport. Everything was better than I expected!

We had such a fantastic stay at Richards place. The house exceeded our expectations. Its a short walk to the lagoon, we could launch our boat on the lagoon and spend the morning on the water. The house is a 20 min drive from knysna where we could enjoy other amenities like quadbiking etc. We also got to enjoy the local farmers market in sedgefield. Richard was responsive and checked in to make sure we checked in easily and enjoying our stay. We were a group or 9 and the house felt very spacious. The hosts made sure every need was met. I'd definitely recommend staying at this accommodation.

We were looking for a quiet place to stay close to the countryside and not far from restaurants and supermarkets. Abraham’s place was perfect. It was a safe place to stay. The only visitors were beautiful bushbuck and guinea fowl. We loved watching the animals in the garden. Out 6 year old loved the play area and trampoline. We made lots of use of the outside bbq overlooking the Outeniqua mountains. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. The apartment is beautiful furnished and has everything you need to make your self catering experience amazing. It is very quiet & wonderful waking up to bird song & beautiful views. We will definitely stay here again!

We couldn’t fault it. This place is amazing. We were here for 10 nights and felt very comfortable and safe. The apartment is special. Would highly recommend. There is some road noise but this did not bother us and the views are amazing. Thank you Jaco Patricia and John January 2025

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the apartment. Easy and safe to walk to the lovely bars and restaurants on the quay. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a quiet area and very clean. Was able to park the car in secure garage and would be very happy to stay here again.

What a fantastic place! The cottage is excellent equipped, tastefully decorated and we loved sitting on the veranda and enjoying the stunning view. Refreshing in the pool on a hot day is wonderful. Adele and Ken are the best hosts you can imagine. Super communication, very friendly and helpful

Warm, welcoming host. Quick response to communications. Was kind enough to allow for flexible luggage arrangements on checkout. Rooms and kitchen are very cozy.

The place is very beautiful. My kids really enjoyed having the pool right at the sliding door. The Host was also very nice always answered my messages. It's really very quiet it was close to amenities ect. Would highly recommend booking tip toe to everyone.

We loved everything about Candlewood Beach House and had the most wonderful time together as a family. From cosy dinners by the fire to watching the dolphins ride the waves from the terrace - every moment felt special. The setting is breathtaking, and the peacefulness of the estate made our stay even more memorable. Driving in, we were often greeted by wildlife roaming freely, which added to the magic of this place. It's a rare gem where nature and comfort blend perfectly. Thank you, Caroline, for sharing your beach house with us, and for being so responsive to any correspondence or questions we had. We would absolutely love to return in the nearby future!

Wesley was a great host. It was the first time in years that we checked into a self catering place where the kitchen & bathrooms were extremely clean. The location of the property is perfect. It is just ouside the hustle of a December holiday, but still very close (within a 5 min drive) and the views are better than the pictures. Thanks again Wesley for being a great host.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Thesen Island is a magical place, quiet, safe, yet close to the walkable restaurants and bars around the harbour. The villa was huge, light and airy, and has a prominent position with great views. It also has a pool, and it looked like a lot of the others didn't, so that is a bonus. Thoroughly recommended.

I have no words to describe Sandro’s house! It is a unique place and I can’t believe how lucky we were to find it and spend a couple of days there! It’s a magical place surrounded by nature with everything you will ever need for an unforgettable experience! I highly recommend it and wish to come back some other time in my life.

This is an absolutely beautiful home with stunning views. Felt dreamy. There is plenty of space for multiple or large families. Stunning!

Bahari has the most spectacular view. You feel as if you’re floating on the ocean. This is our second stay here and we did find that perhaps the house needed some maintenance but other than that we loved it and will happily return. Karen is extremely helpful and quick to assist if there are any issues that require action.
