WELCOME to our newly renovated and modern guest house of 110 sqm, with colors on the walls, painted with environmentally and allergy-friendly paint. The house is close to the forest, which is filled with beautiful lakes, and it is a 3-minute drive from Silkeborg's most beautiful lake, which you can see in the pictures. There is grass + outdoor areas, and the house has two bedrooms, a large living room + conservatory, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and toilet. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace, nature experiences, socializing and lovely conversations!

You will have your own entrance to the apartment. From the bedroom entrance to the TV room/kitchenette with the possibility of sleeping 2 people on the sofa bed. From the TV room, there is access to a private bathroom/toilet. There will be the opportunity to store things in a refrigerator with a small freezer. There is an electric kettle so you can make coffee and tea. In the kitchenette, there is 1 mobile hot plate and 2 small pots as well as 1 oven No frying in the room. Cold drinks can be purchased for DKK 5 and wine for DKK 35. Pay in cash or MobilePay.

Beautiful surroundings on a nature property

Newly renovated large and bright room on 1st floor with fantastic views (and with the possibility of 2 extra beds in addition to double bed) and newly renovated smaller room with vaulted ceilings on the ground floor - also with nice views and double bed. There is also a large living room with the possibility of "cinema" cosiness with a large screen, a game of foosball or just pure relaxation with a good book. The bathroom is located on the ground floor. There's a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

We offer accommodation in our new guest house. The guest house is best suited for a couple, as well as a couple plus a child. It is possible to be a couple plus a child and a baby. The guest house has a private entrance and is equipped with a full kitchen and a bathroom. The kitchen, living room and sleeping area are a large room, but the sleeping area is separated by a half wall. There is a large garden with a child-friendly playground. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. The place is newly renovated with a kitchen for light cooking as well as the possibility of barbecuing and bonfires outside. There is the possibility of walks on landscaped trails in slightly hilly terrain around the home. Close to Givskud Zoo, Legoland, etc.

Really nice holiday home located in a quiet setting. Great for children, as there is a large playroom of 140 m2. The property is away from the road, and there are usually also some animals that would like to be talked to, if interested. In 2007, 240 m2 was renovated, and it is this section that we will let you stay in. The whole place is heated with underfloor heating.
