Our house is rural and quiet, but still close to the center. The main train station and the city are about 10 minutes away (about 20 minutes on foot) A2 / A43 about 10 minutes, Public transport in the nearby vicinity. A bright, lovingly furnished attic apartment (2nd floor) in an old Steigerhaus (former foreman’s house from the mining era) – once part of a mining site, now surrounded by woods and meadows. A cozy home away from home for up to two people. The apartment is accessible via a comfortably wide spiral staircase. If you don’t like dogs, this isn’t the right place for you – they’re part of our family. That’s why dogs are, of course, very welcome in our holiday apartment.

A place to relax after an eventful day or an exciting evening. An extra-wide box-spring bed (180 × 200) and a Ligne Roset Multy sofa bed (160 × 200) give everything for a relaxing night's sleep. The free parking space for two cars and right in front of the entrance door makes it easier to arrive without stress.

Women's room – comfortably furnished apartment in a detached house We don't want to discriminate against anyone, but we rent this apartment in our house exclusively to our female guests, occasionally to couples. All other guests are welcome in our cozy little apartment (about 500 m). The 36 m² apartment (completely renovated and newly furnished in 2020) is located in the basement of our detached house and can be reached via a separate entrance.

Ruhr University, German Law Institute (Vita Campus), BioMedizinPark (IFK, Aesculap Academy) can be reached on foot in 10 to 15 minutes.

Cozy 2-room apartment (45 sqm) on the 2nd floor with balcony and view of the mining museum. It is close to everything (main station, Bermuda Triangle, theater and much more), making it easy to plan your visit. I would like to politely point out that the reception of guests in the rented apartment is not permitted.
