Cozy Forest Stay in a Steigerhaus – Dog Friendly

A bright, lovingly furnished attic apartment (2nd floor) in an old Steigerhaus (former foreman’s house from the mining era) – once part of a mining site, now surrounded by woods and meadows. A cozy home away from home for up to two people. The apartment is accessible via a comfortably wide spiral staircase. If you don’t like dogs, this isn’t the right place for you – they’re part of our family. That’s why dogs are, of course, very welcome in our holiday apartment.

We offer a bright, friendly 2 ½ room apartment in a quiet living environment. The bedroom has 3 (single) beds, beds can be put together. In the living room, a sofa bed offers space for 1-2 more people. A well-equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee machine and Senseo Bathroom with bathtub/shower enclosure. The base price is for 1 person/night. Each additional person is 10.00 euros per night Children up to the age of 3 are free.

We offer another small apartment (about 50 sqm) for max. 3 people on the 2nd floor of our quiet two-family house on the outskirts of Recklinghausen. The stairs up are a bit steep, there is a handrail on both sides. We live in a quiet settlement surrounded by fields and forests, yet you are in the city in a few minutes. The connection to the A2 and A43 is ideal. Bus stops and grocery stores are also nearby. The surroundings invite you to excursions into nature.

The living room is open-plan on the 2nd floor. Attic (without elevator). The property has a fully equipped kitchen, large living-dining area, sofa, two bedrooms each with one bed and two single beds (extra beds). A bathroom with shower and tub as well as a sink and toilet is available. The apartment is about 300 meters from the cultural center (VHS) Herne and about 500 meters from downtown Herne. A supermarket and bakery are right behind the house.

The flat is slightly bigger than 30m2 and comes with a living-/sleeping-area, a kitchen and a bathroom. The whole furniture is quite new and you can find all you need in here. Fast Wi-Fi is included, the bed is 1,40m x 2,00m and the kitchen is fully equipped. There is a 40" TV, which you can use for free. You can find supermarkets, restaurants, bars and public transport within walking distance, the beautiful Westpark is just around the corner!

Location on the first floor, private entrance, quiet*, in the countryside; private parking. The large arenas in Bochum, Dortmund and Gelsenkirchen are easily accessible by bus and train.
