We had a fantastic stay in Bella's gorgeous cottage. The house had everything we needed, was very comfortable and close to everything. We would definitely recommend and will return if we're ever in Ballarat again. Bella was a very friendly host and was super obliging with check-in and check-out times.

We had such a wonderful stay in mt Macedonia over the long weekend. We spent most of the time hanging out in the lounge room and playing pool at night. It was great for 3 families. We visited hanging rock one morning and had a counter meal at the local hotel. We also saw kangaroos in the mornings. Adam was a great host, really quick with communication and had some great tips for the region. Thanks Adam and Erika x

My family and I had a great stay. The home was beautiful and lots of space for our three kids, and special touches like pantry stables. The kids and dog loved exploring the property and spotting kangaroo’s and bunnies. We loved exploring the local farmers markets and nature walks. The kids especially liked the bonfire at night. We were very lucky to also have a late checkout. Thanks for the great stay.

This place is fantastic! A unique comfy home. Heaps of room. Super clean. Very comfy beds! I cannot think of a single criticism. it was perfection. Would happily stay again.

Macedon Views home and garden is such a beautiful place to stay. Kathleen has furnished the home so beautifully ensuring you feel comfortable and cosy as soon as you arrive. Kathleen has created many beautiful nooks within her home to enjoy and soak up the surroundings. You will find a quiet comfortable space for however you choose to relax! Kathleen is a lovely host responding quickly to our questions, including tips on local restaurants!! This is my second stay at Macedon Views House and Garden and once again I was not disappointed.

We only had one night at Max and Carmel's villa but it was lovely stay. The unit was comfortable and well appointed. The gardens and back verandah were lovely and we enjoyed out time there, despite it being a short stay. Max and Carmel were proactive in communicating, instructions for access, booking in and departure were simple and clear. Would definitely stay again and happy to recommend to others.

I would highly recommend staying at Annie’s place! It was a beautiful, peaceful space and had everything you could need. Annie and Josef were great friendly hosts. The location was perfect being close to the lake as well!

Mike and Adey were wonderful hosts. We were greeted on arrival and given a rundown of where to eat and what to see. Such was the idyllic setting of the property we chose to prepare meals at home, in the well equipped kitchen,after enjoying an aperitif on the verandah overlooking a garden bursting with colour. The property is about 15 mins walk to the either the town centre or The Mill complex. We will certainly try and make another visit.

A lovely place right near the city. Quiet and well maintained, clean and very well equipped for all your needs. There was nothing Michelle didn't think of. The bed was very comfortable and truly a place you can call home for a great stay in Ballarat. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return. Thanks so much!

You both are such wonderful people and it shows in the way you treated us—not just a guests but as friends. Your place was a home away from home indeed. It was comfortable, safe, cosy and well equipped. Spending time with you both was indeed the highlight of our trip. It was like visiting the parents. We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel right at home. I think my husband teared up a bit to see how our little one just loved you guys. Thank you for all the generous goodies-milk, cereal, yogurt, juice, chocolates, coffee machine, butter and so much more. Thank you for also showing our little one the possum and for inviting us in for a drink and a chat. It was so, so nice. Thank you, Kurt and Nan! Hope this is not goodbye, but “see you soon again”. So impressed with Lisa’s place. Was just like staying at a friend’s house. Funky and comfortable decor, everything clean and functional, kitchen fully equipped including dishwasher, great tv and lots of games and books for kids and big kids. Couldn’t fault it. Oh and the beds are very comfy and it’s nice and quiet. This was our first trip to Ballarat and the location was a great base- we would love to stay again!

We had the best time at Jason's place. The decor was beautiful and the property was positioned perfectly for what we envisioned for our Ballarat get-away. Highly recommend this property and hosts - we will visit again in the future. Thank you!

By far the best host I’ve ever come across and their properties excel in every aspect from quality to cleanliness to location

Clean, very comfortable, well located and a great host made our stay and fabulous one. Easy walking distance to the cafes and restaurants of both Yarraville and Seddon but also a big supermarket not too far away helped make it a pleasurable visit to a lovely part of Melbourne. Parking was easy as was the short walk to Yarraville station making access a breeze. We will be back.

We loved our 10 day stay at Donna’s! The apartment is perfectly located between Seddon and Footscray, which means there are tons of options for cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and other cute shops. It’s also an easy walk to the train station for exploring other parts of Melbourne. The apartment itself is exactly as described: all the amenities you would ever need, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We especially loved the little seating area on the balcony where we would enjoy our morning coffee and watch the sunrise over the Melbourne skyline. We’re regular visitors to Australia because of family here and are so happy we found a place that’s close to them and where we would definitely stay again. Sharon's place is extremely comfortable and my parents had a wonderful stay there while visiting. They'll definitely stay there again when visiting me
