Lesund is located in Aure municipality which is well known for its nice archipelago and nice mountains with many marked hiking trails Nearby there is a coastal fort from the Second World War that has nice hiking trails, barbecue areas and a small zipline for children and young people. Lesund is located approximately halfway between Kristiansund and Trondheim with 2h each way.

Fishing in both freshwater and sea. There is a lovely beach in Aunvågen about 300m from the cabin. We have a 15-foot boat located in a marina 1 km from the cabin that can be used, included.
