Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The house has 3 bedrooms and an annex with room for a total of 7 overnight guests. In the house there is 1 kingsize, 1 queensize, 1 single bed. In the annex a small double bed W: 140 Lovely bright kitchen-dining room with wood-burning stove. 700 meters to private stairs to beach. 400 meters to a fantastic view of the sea. 300 meters to the local supermarket
