AMAZING !! Not only is the place beautiful, but I found it even nicer than in the pictures, and so original... and the hosts are more than welcoming. also, superb and big breakfast.. that I could enjoy, outside, with view on trees flowers and birds.. so lovely! feeling like out of time. And loved the morning talks... inspiring. (let not even mention the extra help I was given when.facing last minute issue on evening). Coming back to york was special to me.. but this stay there added on the super nice memories ☺️ I strongly recommend !!

Modern s/c holiday home, king bed, parking, garden

MiglenaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Helen's place is everything a person needs for a pleasant stay away from home. Starting with solid beautiful furniture, going thru all eyecatching little touches, not to forget about welcoming variety of tea, coffee, breakfast, chocolate, milk, and least but not last is absolutely adorable little garden, which I enjoyed the most due to warm weather. Helen's excellent communication skills helped us to find places to explore. The Ings House is 2 min walk from vibrant market place where we found artisan coffee shop which is a must to visit if you come here. We absolutely adore Helen's place, Easingwold and the whole area. Planning already to come back! Thank you Helen and Denis!

The cottage is lovely, very well appointed. We were personally welcomed by William and Sophie, and the eggs, wine and flowers were much appreciated. The gardens and sculptures are amazing and the café is excellent.

lovely accommodation in a beautiful village, away from any hussle and bussle. Everything is wonderfully peaceful. You are 5 miles from Thirsk and over a mile away from the nearest pub. You may need transport. it's an annex to a family home so there will be activity. super generous welcome bundle. No cooking facilities although a microwave is supplied. Very comfortable, light and clean.

Lancaster Nissen Hut

WendyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic stay at Lancaster which was just as described on the advert. There was freshly baked bread, milk and eggs on arrival which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The bread was absolutely delicious. The accommodation had been finished to a high specification and had everything we needed for our stay. The outside space with the hot tub was welcoming and immaculately clean and it was an absolute pleasure to look out over the beautiful surroundings. We did find the double bed was very creaky and made noise every time we turned over which did impact sleep slightly, however this was not enough to overshadow all the positives from our stay. I would absolutely recommend and will hopefully return again soon, maybe without the children next time for an even more relaxing stay 😄
