We had a wonderful stay! The property was delightful with many outstanding features. Very nicely equipped too and the beds so comfortable. Stunning views and space around was perfect. The hosts were excellent...very informative, alwayszavailable and extremely friendly. We'd definitely like to stay here again. The young children loved it too.

Chloe and I enjoyed a great stay with Cottage Farm Holidays. We had a wonderful, relaxing time celebrating our honeymoon in North Yorkshire. Would highly recommend the Irishman's cottage to anyone looking for a quiet few days away.

Really enjoyed our stay, plenty of communication regarding check in etc. Lovely location, however narrow road approaching the house when you arrive to unpack etc.

No one could enter No 3 and not smile. It is enchanting. Fab location for walks straight out of the door , access to Fountains/Ripon/Pateley Bridge. Quiet hamlet with particularly beautiful chapel with boxed pews and lovely clear windows. Coffee grinder, beans, biscuits, eggs and milk to great you. And colours that make you feel you ve landed in some whimsical film set. We loved it all.

Had a lovely stay at the Granary Lodge. It was central to where we needed to be and easy to reach. The space was lovely and we were so happy to come back in the evenings to relax by the fire with a drink and some biscuits. Thank you so much!

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely beautiful—full of charm and character. It was spotless when we arrived, and you can tell the hosts really care about keeping it well-maintained. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and do, but still felt peaceful and relaxing. We loved coming back here after a day of exploring. What can I say..an incredible get away. I visit Yorkshire a lot and this has been one of my favourite stays. The salt house is set out of the way, it’s peaceful and very comfortable. The touches of milk, butter, eggs and bread were much appreciated. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The North York Moors is a small drive away as is York or other great places of interest. We took a longer drive to Bempton Cliffs to see the puffins and also Malton food fest. Pickering for the steam/tractor fest! Sadly we didn’t get to meet Judith and Simon but they were contactable and made us feel extremely welcome. Thank you! We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful apartment in an ideal location. Situated within a few minutes walk of everything you’d want to do in York. The apartment itself is lovely and quirky and had all the amenities you’d want (tea, milk, hairdryer, safety pins etc.) Only slight downside was you can hear the street outside very clearly from the bedroom, but didn’t take away from the experience and would definitely stay here again.

Great communication from the hosts prior to arriving, did not need to contact during our stay. The apartment is in a great location and easily walkable into the centre within minutes. Very well equipped kitchen , with many utensils, glasses, plates etc. Lovely living room with a comfy sofa and added bonus of Apple TV, plus a DVD player with a selection found in the bedroom. Great double bedroom, with blackout blind, wardrobe and drawers. All in all we had a fabulous 2 night stay in an amazing private apartment! Thanks for our stay 😄

Lovely clean flat with all amenities-super extra touches with fresh flowers, milk, biscuits etc. Great local maps with information about shops, restaurants and attractions. In fact the whole experience really could not have been better!

Great location for exploring York by foot, and very comfortable accommodations. And Nicky was helpful and responsive.

We had a lovely weekend for my wife’s birthday staying at Fay’s apartment, everything is right on your doorstep, lots of pubs and eateries a short walk away, the apartment is really nice and homely, loved all the little personal touches and she was very helpful and always replied very quickly, thanks again Fay and we will definitely be booking with you again x

Great place to stay. Fantastic location - very close to centre of town, just yards away from the Market Square. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. My stay there could not have been more enjoyable.

My family and I (7 adults & 1 child) recently stayed at ‘The Cottage’ and we all agreed that it was a wonderful holiday. The house is beautiful, very spacious, spotlessly clean and was well equipped for all of our needs. The hub is definitely the kitchen, we enjoyed playing family board games around the dining table. The gardens are amazing we loved watching wild rabbits, squirrels and cows everyday. It was nice to see home grown vegetables and a herb garden too. Our grandson enjoyed playing football with his dad in the garden, jumping on the trampoline and feeding the fish. It is ideally located for travelling into York and not far from the designer outlet. Our group ranged in age from 2yrs to 78yrs and there was something for everyone to do at the house. We all really needed a family break due to recent illness and enjoyed spending time together making lovely memories. We hope to be able to stay again and thank both Neil and Adrienne for sharing their beautiful home with us.
