Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Heceta Beach

What a lovely well-kept home in a quiet private neighborhood. It worked out beautifully for our kids and grandkids to stay and my parents will be here in the fall to stay there as well. Alison is a very generous host, plenty of supplies, games & things to do. everything was clean & organized, easy to keep.

This was our second time staying at this house and my family all agrees that when it comes to value you really can't do better than this place! Though it could use a little updating and TLC (our 8-year old daughter got quite a few splinters from the deck and the railing) the location is great - easy access to the beach, It's pet-friendly, clean and comfortable. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay Wally is very responsive and friendly. We've already booked our next stay here.

The house was in a location that was private and easy to get to town for groceries. Views from the house to the ocean were fantastic. The house itself has a lot of stairs which can be a problem for those with ambulatory challenges. Waldport is a quiet town and less touristy, which we appreciated. We loved our 8 day stay there. We also appreciated Jon's flexibility in allowing us to reschedule at the last minute due to a family situation that arose.

We had an amazing time staying here! The home had everything we needed, including things we forgot to pack, like beach towels. The beds were very comfortable and we loved watching a movie on the projector screen as a family. The best part for us was the beautiful river and the peaceful time kayaking while we watched our girls having fun playing on the sand. It was wonderful to be so close to Florence and the Heceta lighthouse / beach. We also drove up the road four minutes from the house to Ginderbread Village restraunt / bakery. The lady who runs it is beyond sweet and they have fun traditions that made it a special experience as well as delicious food. And we are especially grateful the hosts took the time to help us find a mechanic!! Our truck had issues and all mechanic shops were closed. They took the time to find a friend to help us out. We so appreciate their help beyond their job description as a host. Thank you so much! Such a great trip!! We will stay again in the future!

Beautiful, cozy home with an ocean view! We loved staying at this wonderful home by the sea! It was so great to sit on the deck and look out at the ocean! We loved the hot tub and the ping pong table in the garage! Great spot to enjoy some time as a family. The home was clean and stocked nicely (made you feel like a guest in a friend’s home!!). I’ll definitely come back to this very special place!!!!

What a FABULOUS stay!! Immaculately clean, very responsive host, gorgeous house, short drive to the beach, and overall a 10 out of 10. Unfortunately we could only spend one night. We would have loved to stay longer!

Wonderful house and perfect for a beach getaway. The check in process was easy and Larry followed up to make sure I was settled in and having a good time. The house is squeaky clean with all sorts of amenities. The shower is incredible

This is the second time we've stayed here. Nothing beats the view. The house is just as described. The little neighbor lady below the house is adorable and her yard is beautiful as well. It was a fun trip!

Debbe's house was amazing. the beds were very comfortable. everyone had a television in their own room. she had absolutely everything you'd need. would highly recommend.

Great vacation spot, walkable to the beach and the bay. Family friendly and an overall great experience.

My family and I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate my moms 50th birthday. The house was huge with plenty of space for everyone, did not feel overcrowded. The only issues we had was the microwave was out of order ( didn't know this until after we arrived) made heating up food challenging. 2nd is some of the beds were too firm which made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall 5 stars, the location was great, a short distance to the beach and plenty of space for everyone, would stay here again!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect home and location for a vacation with extended family. Everyone loved the house!

My wife and I wanted a private space where we could walk our dogs on the beach, cook dinners, read books all while listening to the ocean. This was an ideal location and a great house. The house was much larger than we needed so we spent all our time on the main floor that has a great view of the dunes and ocean. We spent each nite eating diner with a view of the setting sun over the ocean.

This is one of the most comfortable and completely equipped homes that we stayed at. We were able to cook our favorite meals at home with all needed utensils, while the children played with great games stored in the house then stroll through the beautiful clean beach. Fresh local seafood available at stores within a 10 minute drive. We would definitely return to this home in the future.

Very cute place! Was perfect for a girls trip away. The bed was comfortable and the views from the back deck made it all the better!

All in all, I’d rate Katie‘s home a 4.5. The property manager, Bill upstairs was a definite asset and answered our questions very responsively the house had everything we needed and it was immaculate. The location was not what I hoped. We were several miles from the ocean, a few miles from old town, and no ocean beach accessible without a car. No ocean noise, and that’s part of why I go to the beach! I would return, however, because it’s a good size space. With three people all wanting a bedroom, it worked out very well as she offered three very nicely sized bedrooms, the kitchen hat everything we needed, and the home was immaculate, and she just seemed like a very good soul.

Great place, easy to find and a great spot to walk to the beach. Nice to feel away from some of the more touristy spots.

Jason’s place was just what we needed! I enjoyed going to the creek and exploring! It was perfect. Our dog loved it! We went to Florence to get some fresh crab— yum! We hope to go back!

We had a wonderful stay here. Beautiful area with beach access just down the stairs. Plenty of seating for our group. And the deck is beautiful. The host was super responsive and we had everything we needed. No complaints here.

The Tower house is absolutely amazing. As a former AirBNB super host myself, I can absolutely say that Kim and Greg are NEXT LEVEL and far surpassed my skills. They take tremendous pride in the quality of the entire experience. The Hot Tub with Cold Plunge was not only unique, but made me a convert to not only the relaxing part but the therapy part. The views from every floor only get better and climax with the 4th floor rooftop views…and we got them in spades! Clear night with almost zero wind we could see the ocean, the dunes, the bay, and the bridge. Just an epic date night with my wife. If they make a recommendation, take them up on it! Having hot stone therapy massage and table set up was icing on the best of cakes! Do yourself a favor and book this instead of any hotel or other airbnb! Highly recommend!

Kathy & Mike's place is really charming and incredibly well equipped. They could not have been more responsive to a couple of questions that came up during our stay. The description of the place was accurate, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The views are breathtaking, home is tidy, clean and well-kept. It’s a short scenic walk to town and there are many nearby activities. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time, especially relaxing in the hot tub, watching the waves crash after fun days of exploration. Thank you!
