Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. We converted a shack into a sweet, cozy 1 bedroom. With u very own porch and outside kitchen. We are completely off grid.. we use rain water for showering… but don’t worry it’s a hot shower. Our toilets are compost to use less water and work with Mother Nature. U also have ur own tiny back yard hang out area, Wi-Fi available

My stay at Lee’s place was absolutely fantastic! The unit was incredibly clean and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed. The furniture was very comfortable. I was particularly impressed with the new appliances, which made my stay even more comfortable. The lanai was the cherry on top! Very nice! Lee was an excellent host, always available to answer questions and provide helpful tips. His communication was top-notch, making the entire booking process smooth and easy. The location couldn't have been better. I was within walking distance of so many great restaurants, shops, and attractions in Kona. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Kona!

We had a great stay at Gita's place. The view is incredible! The place is well stocked with whatever you need, whether it's beach and snorkel gear, kitchen and cooking tools, or just relaxing on the lanai. We had a small maintenance issue and Gita was very quick to fix. Excellent communication throughout. The noise on the street can be loud at times, light sleepers may need to get earplugs like my wife, but I had no problem with it. I'm a deeper sleeper. The ocean waves crashing can be loud too, but I find it peaceful and amazing. Overall we both loved our experience there and would come back next time without hesitation.

Chris is an amazing host and is very clear in his communication. House was exactly as described. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was stuffed with a lot of condiments and a lot of attention to details. Yard had many fruit bearing trees. A quick drive to nice beaches, restaurants, grocery stores etc. All in all we were very satisfied.

We had three day visit to Volcanoes National Park and we really enjoyed our stay. Paku was a great host he provided local knowledge and suggestions. The house had everything we needed, and Paku was very accommodating. Also, We got lucky and were able to see the eruption of Kilauea, which was great. After hiking and spending all day at the park, the hot tub and outdoor shower were awesome. We felt right at home and we enjoyed, Patchy, Paku’s super friendly cat who lives on the property. Thanks again for a great stay, hopefully we get a chance to visit again.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. We fell asleep each night to the soothing sounds of nature and birds chirping. The beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax. The kids loved taking sand toys to the nearby beach and had a blast. The upper deck had lots of fun little activities—we especially enjoyed playing giant Jenga together as a family. The ping pong table was a big hit too. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook and enjoy our favorite meals. Overall highly recommended for a laid back close to nature vacation.

we spent a week in Matthew's place and would be happy to come back on a future trip. The house is large and full of good stuff - games, kitchen stuff, and more. The immediate surroundings are beautiful as is the view from the porch. Matthew is extremelya helpful and thoughtful. He really cared that we will enjoy our stay. Indeed a five star host. Ocean view is about 90 mins from Kona airport. I suggest not arriving at dark the first time - the area is dark and following the maps app we entered one driveway too early - backing up at darkness was scary. Make sure to follow Matthew's instructions and not just the app. The driveway to the house is not fully paved. However, after you see the way once at daylight it becomes easier. overall, we could use the place as a most comfortable place from which we could reach volcano national park several times and many beaches. it was good to be back to a cosy place at night. We would be happy to do this again!

She was incredibly proactive in making sure we were enjoying our stay, provided spot-on recommendations for activity, and even added some lovely personal touches as we celebrated our honeymoon. Incredibly thoughtful host who gave us the trip of a lifetime!

Such an amazing feeling walking in the door to a clean, pristine, organized, beautiful space. Lots of room for the price and great fitting for 3-4 people. No one was standing on eachother, where I’ve stayed at places for the same price and we were so tight so this was refreshing. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and shower was so clean and wonderful, everything was organized and easy to use and understand. I am beyond happy with my stay and I do recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place in town where you can walk into town and go shopping or eating and not be directly on the main road having to hear loud cars pass by. This place was quiet and amazing. 10/10 Thank you so much

We enjoyed Marisa’s condo. We found it to be the perfect quiet location and a good home base to explore the island. Home was clean and kitchen was super well stocked. Ample beach chairs and even sand toys which my daughter enjoyed. Clean pool and small gym was a plus. If you’re able-bodied, you can walk up the hill to the shopping center where there are restaurants and shops. Clover and Bug has great coffee, croffles, and a variation of shaved ice that we absolutely loved. Kenichi’s bento takeout is also great. A car is a must have if you want to explore the island.
