Located 5 minutes from Aucklands Southern motorway and just 35 minutes from the CBD, and 20 minutes from Auckland Intl Airport. A great place to get away from the busy city. Also handy to the Karaka Bloodstock Centre for those with Equine interests. Plenty of room for parking (including a horsefloat).

The Gazebo

The Gazebo is a unique small space at the end of the Raglan harbour. Privately sited on a small farm founded on permaculture principles, The Gazebo features native timber, a mezzanine relaxation platform, and unique indoor-outdoor living spaces. With an outdoor galley kitchen and gas-heated shower among the magnolias, you will have all the comforts of home while being brought into the outdoors. The private outdoor bath overlooking the sunset across the harbour is a stand-out feature.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Piha Retreat - Rainforest Magic

The Retreat is nestled in protected native rain forest with stunning views down to Lion Rock at Piha Beach 15 mins drive away. You will be rested & rejuvenated after your stay. Designed by Chris Tate, who won international acclaim for his "Glasshouse" in Titirangi. Watch the sun go down from the deck with a glass of wine, enjoy the outdoor bath under the stars, then have a wonderful peaceful sleep.

Misty Mountain Hut - Piha

A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.

A sunny guesthouse close to the bush, the beach, a waterfall and spring water pools. There is abundant bird life, and the air and water are clean and fresh. We are very close to several beautiful beaches which are safe for swimming. We are within an eco village that is run solely on solar power and is a quiet and restful retreat space. Kia ora! We would love to host you in our separate studio where you can relax in private. It includes a modern bathroom with shower, as well as a living area with a sofa/single bed. (Available for use as an extra bed on request for a $40 fee). It is set in our native NZ garden and is bright and fresh. We live in a great area with many cafes, shops, restaurants and bars nearby.
