Juliabuda is located in Haugsbygda on Gurskøya. Juliabuda was built in the 1860s, and we can offer an atmospheric stay in this authentic seaside cottage where there has been a herring salting plant, a post office and a store. Sjøbuda has a jetty with the opportunity to go boating or enjoy views of the fjord and the islands in the strait. The area has many beautiful excursion areas both by the fjord and at mountain heights around 600-700 meters above sea level, with both light and more challenging terrain. This is the listing for the smallest of two apartments in Juliabuda.

Good large terraces in the outdoor area with great sun conditions. Short distance to Larsnes city centre. Many trips in the surrounding area, and a short drive to both Ulsteinvik, Herøy and Ørsta/Volda. Kayak, SUP board and bicycle are included in the price. We can assist in providing contact information for the owner of a Bever 460, 9.9 hp boat.

Location on Skredestranda, about 3.5 km from Årvik ferry dock, in a quiet and peaceful area. Here you can relax and recharge your batteries. You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.

My boathouse is as close as you can get to the waterfront. It is built in a navy style with lots of antique items from a former career at sea. I believe it has what is needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday on a quiet Island on the norwegian westcoast.
