Vacation rentals with a patio in Hassocks

Claudine's apartment is spacious, comfortable and bright. It is well-equipped, with a full kitchen. The bathroom is a good size and the full size bath is a welcome luxury. There is an excellent shower too. There is convenient parking opposite, where we left our car for most of our stay. The High Street is an 8-minute (uphill) walk away. The apartment is ideal for visits to Glyndebourne, which is an easy 10-minute drive away.

Het appartement ligt op de grens van Brighton en Hove in een leuke straat vlakbij de zee. Het is een sousterrain en toch is er voldoende licht en we voelden ons er prettig. Het is in een rustige straat, af en toe (maar niet vaak) hoorden we de bovenburen. Al met al een aanrader!

Great place to stay overnight before flying out. Cristina's place was neat, tidy and comfortable.

Our stay while short, was comfortable and relaxing! The Studio was the perfect base to come home to after a long day. Sue was a great host, meeting us as we arrived, ensuring we felt right at home. We all enjoyed our stay.

This was Airbnb in the old fashioned sense of the word. Genuine homely stay with a host who had gone to a great deal of effort to make our stay enjoyable. Wish there were more like it.

Sarah’s flat was incredible. The space was perfect for two people. A private flat with a private patio and within perfect bus/walking distance to Brighton’s beaches and tourist attractions. It took 15 minutes to get everywhere and we are so glad we stayed here. Would love to return here again. Thanks so much Sarah!!

We really enjoyed our stay here very much. Lesley was so helpful even when we asked for a little help with something. She was very quick to respond. The beds and linen are extremely comfortable. The place is so close to the sea and very close to loads of wonderful restaurants and a short walk to the main central bit of town. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter, the temperature outside was very varied hot one day and very cold another day so we experienced both the house being cool and comfortable on the hot day, warm and cosy with good heating the other day. Thank you Lesley for a great stay. We said we will book again next time we are in Brighton.

Tracie's place was fab! Had absolutely everything we needed, was in a great location and was beautifully presented, comfortable and clean. We travelled with our 5 month old and this accomodation was ideal. Would definitely stay again! Tracie was also super responsive and helpful throughout! x

Josh’s house was as described. Everything was spotless and had everything listed and that we would’ve needed. The location is slightly out of center but taxis are quick and cheap and walk was easy. Communication was quick and helpful. We met him on checking in and he was friendly and made everything super easy for our stay. Would definitely recommend and looking at booking next time I’m back.

Magnifique location décorée avec goût et très bien équipée. Vue superbe depuis la pièce où l'on peut s'installer pour lire! Possibilité d'aller à pied explorer Rodmell, le village où l'on peut visiter la maison de Virginia Woolf. Très envie de revenir dans cette location.

Thank you Katherine for the stay in your comfy and welcoming home. It is a very fun little house with a back garden looking onto the old church. We were four adults and had an excellent time. The house is equipped with everything you need and parking spaces were plentiful. We had delicious take away from the Indian restaurant at the back of the church, and the coop across the road has all the groceries you might need. Also we had a good dinner at the pub , a five minute walk away. I highly recommend Katherine's home as a stay.

Firstly, the place is amazing with everything that you need for really nice weekend. It has been furnished to a very high degree and no expense has been spared. Everything in the pictures is exactly how you see it. Provided very nice towels, toiletries and a really nice welcome breakfast pack. Secondly, the hosts (Nick and Sandra) are fantastic!. So very friendly and very hospitable. We felt right at home upon meeting them on the first day. On leaving day we ended up having a chat for an over an hour. That's just the way they are. Lol Finally, they have created a beautiful, nice and tranquil garden with really nice seating where you can spend your day and evening to really relax. Thoroughly recommended and may even return again as it was such a wonderful weekend. Nick and Sandra, thank you!

We had an amazing stay for my Husband’s birthday and the property did not disappoint! It was so beautifully decorated and very clean. Laura was also a fantastic host and answered all questions immediately. Thank you so much for giving us such a great weekend and for the extra surprise gift for my husband. We had the best time and will definitely be back soon.

Lovely cottage. Large garden, dog and child friendly. Completely detached and set at a distance from neighbours, no need to worry about noise from children/grandchildren or dogs! Close to many places of interest. Easy access from the A23 Plenty of parking.

The house is in a peaceful area and was immaculate, clean, with all the necessary items but no ‘clutter’. Response with owners before arrival was helpful and very prompt. Local bus service into Brighton easy and regular and lots to do in the area. Away from Brighton we would recommend Knepp Wilding a super place with great walks, storks flying overhead and good food. It’s on the A24 south of Horsham.

Goldeneye was the perfect place for our puppy’s first staycation! Rob went over and above to provide instructions and excellent recommendations, sending all information across ahead of our visit. All of the little touches for us we truly appreciated. Area is perfect for a seaside trip, very dog friendly and the apartment was perfect size. Would 100% recommend, thanks Rob!!

Had a lovely stay at Alan’s, was easy to find and was a wonderful place to stay for the weekend, would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Had an amazing time. A lovely space to stay in for the weekend, could have stayed there longer. Close to the seafront and a 15 min walk away from the Brighton 360 and upside down house experience. Plenty of local shops including Tesco's and Sainsbury's and lots of pubs and food places. Felt at home and a comfortable stay, the host (Jess) was very responsive too when I had queries. Overall an amazing stay, thanks so much.

Excellent apartment in great location, gated community, and facing the marina. Easy distance to central Brighton either via the beach, electric railway, car or uber.... Good local restaurants if not eating in town. Apartment was well equipped, clean and functional. Secure parking. A vey enjoyable long weekend stay by the coast.

Second sejour chez Adrian à cette adresse, le logement est impeccable près du centre tout en étant calme. Bonne réactivité d Adrian. Il y a la base nécessaire (thé, café, sel poivre huile) et un bon réfrigérateur. Les commerces sont à moins de 10 minutes. Je recommande ce logement soigné.

We really enjoyed staying at Bloomsbury place. We felt it was in a great location, and was just the right size for the 3 of us (2 adults and a small dog). The place was pristine and the welcome goodies made us feel right at home. We had never been to Brighton before and feel like we’d love to come again every chance we get. This is an absolute gem of a place and location, with views right across the Darent Valley. I only wish we could have stayed longer! The place was spotless and everything had been perfectly prepared and very well thought through (from the local hand-drawn maps right down to the vast array of toiletries on offer). I can't think of a single thing to change or improve about the place. Diana was a lovely host and provided a lot of information prior to arrival. She had also found some suggestions of activities for us tailored to our interests, which was frankly above and beyond. We were very grateful and it was clear a lot of thought had been put in prior to our arrival. I could carry on for pages but in summary, we have already recommend the place to family and friends and we be pleased to offer our recommendation here too.
