Places to stay in Hartington

We had a wonderful stay at Amy's place! We especially enjoyed exploring the garden, which had a lovely, almost National Trust-like charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the decor was unique and inviting, and the kitchen was new, well-equipped, and spotless. We would definitely book again when visiting family. The only small downside was that the TV wasn’t a smart TV, and the sofa was a bit on the softer side.

Beautiful cottage in peaceful and stunning surroundings, spotlessly clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more! Decorated beautifully throughout with cosy log burner for colder evenings! Barbara met us at the property and was very welcoming and provided some great info on local walks, pubs and also provided some tasty flapjacks! Would book again without hesitation, everything was perfect! Thank you Barbara and Ray!

Our short stay at Fox Cottage was amazing. The property is beautiful, spotless and comfortable. The views are spectacular! Andrew was a great host, very responsive and helpful and we really appreciated the very kind welcome hamper! Loads to do and see and there were even toys for our young son to play with! We loved it so much we’ve booked for next year!

Perfect overnight stay for me and 2 colleagues whilst we were in town for a conference. Right next to a big park so easy to have a quick walk before setting off. comfortable and clean and just what we needed. thanks you

This was our second time staying at this lovely Airbnb and once again we had a wonderful, relaxing stay! The place is spotless and is within walking distance of the beautiful town of Buxton. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the local area!

We had a great stay at Lavender cottage! It's in a lovely quiet location but only a short walk to shops and pubs. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay! Thanks Ruth.

We had the best stay here, the lodge was beautiful and had even better views. We loved every morning looking out at the views through the window above the bed. It had everything we needed and the guide was very helpful for local pubs and taxi information. Loved the selection of DVDs as well. We will be back!

We had an amazing couple of nights in Over Haddon at Denise’s Airbnb. The location was amazing for local walks and within driving range of a whole host of beautiful villages with plenty of things to do. The kitchen was just the right size for an easy meal in the evening after spending the day out and about exploring. The bathroom was great with all amenities we needed. The bed was very comfortable and after a day out in the sunshine, was a great place to relax. The courtyard is beautiful, peaceful, and Paco the cat was very friendly. Denise was a great host and made us feel extremely welcome! All in all, a great retreat and definitely somewhere we will come back to for an escape from the city.
