House vacation rentals in Harrisonburg

We had a truly wonderful weekend here! The house is beautiful and the outdoor space was so fantastic. Highly recommend! *I’l note that it’s a bit close to the road and there are a lot of very loud farm trucks at all hours, so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

Great, communicative hosts. Check in process was easy. We loved how private it was too. We loved being able to hang out much of the time under the wrap around porch while it rained and at night. House perfectly met our needs

Absolutely loved our stay at Emily and Gabriel’s Airbnb in Harrisonburg! From the moment we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. They were super responsive anytime we had a question, and even took the time to wash our towels for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The house itself was spotless, clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Everything was exactly as described (if not better), and it truly felt like a home away from home. Emily and Gabriel are amazing hosts, and I would 100% stay at their place again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful getaway at Seths place in Rockingham. Perfect location for a group of 12 girlfriends that wanted to relax. Loved the pool and the porch/patio! Felt like Tuscany. Seth and Carla were extremely responsive to the couple of small issues we had. Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful, relaxing, much needed getaway for a birthday weekend. We really enjoyed the screened in patio and the hot tub! We also appreciated the guidebook that was provided for us in the living room. It was much helpful! We felt right at home and even wished we had came a day earlier. Great stay!

I’m not sure where to start! I wish I could rate this experience a 10/10. Super accommodating, super flexible, beautiful place that met our needs perfectly. It fit the 4 of us well. House was super clean. We brought our dogs with us and it worked out seamlessly. Also 10-15 from JMU. Went for an event at JMU. The guest book was also super helpful. We really appreciated the early check in and late checkout. Thanks again!!!

The house was quaint and comfortable. We were allowed to have a graduation celebration which we much appreciated. The house is older but well maintained and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our time here. The view out the front of the house was just beautiful looking out across the valley and toward Mole Hill. The house was nicely accommodating with comfortable beds. The host had snacks and a few pizzas in the freezer for us if needed. Just a nice overall experience. We plan to be back!

The Airbnb advertisement for the house does not adequately convey how nice this place actually is! Most of the items in the house: furniture, appliances, cookware, grill, bedding, towels, etc. are of high quality and excellent condition. The interior of the house is open, spacious and beautiful. It has high ceilings in most rooms, and a vaulted ceiling over the kitchen, dining room, family room, living room, and foyer. Barbara and Mike gave our girls a tour of the sheep farm and let them meet their dog. They were also responsive quick to take action whenever we had issues (like tripping a circuit breaker and running out of propane). For an additional charge of $75, they warmed up the pool for me twice because I am not a fan of water temps in the low 80s. The location is beautiful and secluded, but you can get to Shenandoah hiking trails in 20-30 minutes or Walmart/Safeway in 15 minutes. We loved our time here and would definitely stay at Peacefield again.

Great mountain house! House was clean and had everything we needed. The host sent us local recommendations and checkin/out was easy!

Great property. Owners left great instructions, and the house was private. The deer were an added bonus with the hot tub. Will be back for the winter. 5 Stars

We had an incredibly relaxing, peaceful, quiet getaway. The house is more than enough space for 2 people, well stocked kitchen, amazing scenery. Beautiful Mountain View’s, screened in porch, super serene.

This was a great affordable option for our multi-family vacation with a wide range of ages (adults, teens and toddlers). The separate living rooms were nice when our group wanted to participate in different activities. Everything was clean and stocked. When we had questions, Jeff was quick to respond and provided helpful information. We also enjoyed using the Massanutten Resort's amenities (pickleball courts, rec center, etc.) We loved our stay!

My husband, brother, and two of our friends spent the weekend at Brad’s house and we had a lovely time. It was extremely conducive to relaxing. We cooked our meals there. The kitchen was very clean and we had found everything we needed for our meals. We were able to use lies the front porch. The pool was closed, but it looked very nice. Brad is an amazing host. He will answer your questions quickly. I would highly recommend staying at Brad’s place to anyone.

The only thing nicer than this home was the host herself. Laurinda did so many special things to make us feel welcome. From stopping by to say hello, to sending our daughter flowers for graduation, she just did so many little things that made our stay that much more special. We had a lot going on during the stay and the rental itself allowed us to put our mo ds at ease and focus on the special event! Thank you so much Laurinda. We would highly recommend your property to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Harrisonburg and plan to be back ourselves!

We loved this quaint spot! Was the perfect place for our family to gather to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from JMU! Great location, close to stores, shops, restaurants, and the university. Everything was spotlessly clean and well thought out! Kristin was great as well. Would definitely like to return again sometime!

Shannon and Julianne were great hosts! This home had everything to offer. You really don’t need to bring anything with you! There were a lot of amenities. We loved sitting outside at the fire pit and relaxing. The house was very clean and comfortable. There is a lot to explore in Harrisonburg. We would definitely recommend staying at this house!

Amazing! We rented this for our annual extended family vacation and everyone agreed this was the best AirBnB we've stayed at on these trips. Jonah and Fern were so kind and responsive in all their communications, the house manual had everything we needed, and the home itself was beautiful, clean, and fun. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, the best-stocked kitchen we've had at a rental, lots of nice amenities (pool, theatre, hot tub, etc), and a very peaceful neighborhood. We'd love to stay again and would recommend Splash at the Slopes to anyone traveling to the area in any season. Thank you for a lovely and memorable trip for our family!

Justin's house was beautiful! It was perfect for a family get together - the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The house is inviting and warm and the bedrooms are comfy and spacious. It was very close to town and convenient getting to and from JMU. The front porch is a great place to gather and relax. I highly recommend Justin's house and hope to stay there again sometime.

Great stay for our visit to Massanutten! Would definitely stay here again! Cozy little spot for my daughter and me. Erin was so kind and helpful. Definitely will be back!

This was our second stay with Courtney and Chase, and we have another booked for the fall! They are so accommodating and responsive. Their home is perfect for a JMU visit, close to campus but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!
