Cottage vacation rentals in Harmby

We would definitely recommend this Air BnB, it is in a very private and peaceful area and the BnB itself was very clean and tidy. Upon arrival we were met by the host, who messaged us earlier on in the day to give us clear instructions on how to get to the correct location. The host introduced himself and showed us around the Air BnB, explaining how different amenities within the BnB worked, which made for a much more comfortable stay. The host was very kind, polite and welcoming, and was very happy for us to contact him incase there was anything we may need during our stay; he was also very helpful when recommending the best way to access the city centre from the air BnB. I loved The Loft, it was just perfect. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything you could want or need, lots of lovely little touches made it really special. The view from the decking and the hot tub was spectacular and we spent many mornings and evenings just enjoying the peace and the surrounding views. I would definitely book again.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely cozy cottage in the beautiful village of Addingham. The cottage was nice and clean with welcoming goodies on arrival. Lorraine provided is us with useful information of places to visit around the location and how to access the parking space before we arrived. The hot tub is so relaxing after a nice walk. Lovely place to stay for a getaway weekend, lots of walking and things to do and see in the local area and within a short drive. Really clean and beautiful little place which we would definitely go back to :)

We loved our stay at Wendy's cottage. It was beautifully clean with a lovely comfortable bed and an amazing shower! Everything you could need for a few days away. The little extra touches were really lovely too. The hot tub was the icing on the cake!

We stayed for one night at Deans place to celebrate a 40th birthday. there was 4 of us that stayed and there was lots of room. The place is gorgeous! We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. We took an Uber to the nearest high street which was approx 10 minutes, there was lots of bars and place to eat there. Dean was a great host, always replying to messages and when we realised we'd forgotten our milk he brought some over for us. Thanks for a great stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Kathryn's place. The place is exactly how you imagine it would be by looking at the description and the photos. We will definitely be going back again. Kathryn was very responsive and so helpful with whatever queries we had.

Lovely little getaway for Christmas. The accommodation was warm and cosy with country walks right on the doorstep. Perfect spot to escape the noise and chaos of every day life

We have just spent a couple of wonderful days walking up penyghent. Moira's cottage was wonderful. Really clean and cosy and stocked with everything we needed. The walk up to pen-y-ghent starts literally right outside the doorstep which is very handy and a comfortable bed is exactly what we needed after the long walk. Thank you Mouira for your hospitality.

we had a fantastic stay here. the cottage is beautiful, the garden with pod is perfect to enjoy the local scenery. it was the best sleep I've had in months, so quiet! John was always on hand if neded and very friendly & helpful. we felt very welcome. the cottage has everything you need and more!! I especially loved the history of the house and the way if was decorated/accessorised. my daughter absolutely loved it!! she is 10 and was very sad to leave. I'm certain we will return! the pub up the road was amazing...a lovely walk for tea! food was delicious and very good value. I would highly recommend this cottage and can't wait to come back. thank you John for being a wonderful host and letting us share in the history of this magnificent building.

We had a lovely couple of days at Brandybuck cottage. Superb location in the heart of Kirkby Stephen with the high street a minute walk away and some gorgeous walks around the local area straight from the cottage. The cottage itself is a real home from home with a well equipped kitchen,comfy beds and a decent shower. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 with 2 older children(who appreciated the TV in each bedroom). Communication from the host was excellent with directions and check in details clearly explained so arrival and check in was a smooth process. Parking is on a road to the rear of the property which again was clearly explained and Marks directions took us to the exact place to park with further clear directions from there to access the rear of the cottage. Tea,coffee,sugar,milk and a packet of biscuits was provided upon arrival which was a nice touch and much appreciated. We booked this cottage as a last minute break and it is a real gem of a find.

Absolutely perfect little get away in a lovely area. My girlfriend really liked it and wants to go again. Very cosy and private place with a little garden for the dogs. Beautiful surroundings will 100% be booking again. Very responsive host even though we got there late. Thanks again

Annette was friendly, informative and responses quickly to our questions. The Nest is clean and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the quality of the bed linen, pillows and towels, and the shower is excellent. Castleton is a friendly place with astonishing views.

Thank you to Kathryn and Richard for allowing us to stay at their beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed for nice relaxing stay including a fireplace, comfy beds and amazing views. Our children loved the chickens and goats. The location was great for exploring the area. Would recommend the restaurant Rind to anyone staying here- so good we went back a 2nd time! Kathryn and Richard were both so welcoming throughout, from initial booking, communication was great and were available to contact throughout our stay. We've had a lovely long weekend :)

We had a really lovely stay at Curlew Cottage for my husbands 40th birthday weekend. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area as we are into our walks. The house itself was beautifully presented, spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The setting was very peaceful with beautiful views all around. We spotted lots of wildlife which was lovely. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

If we could give Decca Cottage 6 or more stars, we would. We have stayed in 70 Air Bnbs and this has to be in our top 5. It is in a beautiful, peaceful location, yet close to York. The cottage is very well appointed; downstairs is a large kitchen with everything you'd need, a second powder room and a very cosy loungeroom with lovely decor, views and underfloor heating. Upstairs is the bedroom and ensuite. Both were pristine; lovely linen made for a wonderful 3 nights' sleep. We had a very relaxing time at Decca Cottage, spoilt by the goodies left by Debbie. Poppleton Park and Ride is close by and so convenient to get into York. Thanks again Debbie and Kevin for making our stay so enjoyable. We would highly recommend Decca Cottage!

What a find! Amazing place to stay. Not only is it a 5 star accommodation, it's a perfect place to explore the local area and has the best back garden I've ever experienced i.e. "The Himalayan Gardens & Sculptures". The accommodation itself was warm, cosy and spotlessly clean, plenty of space for two adults and two springer spaniels. We valued the entrance with it's stone floor to rub down our wet pups when arriving back after our adventures. With plenty of logs for the burner it added to the feeling of home from home. Everything supplied in the cottage is top class quality. The outside area included an enclosed patio which many need if they have dogs with them. We were there when the gardens were closed so it was quiet and such a treat to be able to walk around not sharing it with anyone else. We will be back and have already recommended the cottage to our friends and family. Thank you Will and Sophie

Wow, wow, wow! Deb and Tim’s place was absolutely beautiful! The surroundings were to die for, the bath was so relaxing! I felt very at home and the facilities and were great! Will be definitely back again soon, thank you Tim and deb!

Great place to stay! Easy to get to via public transport and very near to the Main Street in Haworth. A great cosy space with amazing views from the garden. We had a great time!

Had a brilliant stay. Very beautiful property. My little girls had a fantastic time playing in the vast strerch of private green space near the property. Claire is vey welcoming and very responsive. She helps even with small items like having a football for my little ones to play. Claire have a fantastic knowledge of the local area. Looking forward to book again.

Perfect place for a couple of days away. The scenery , hot tub ,quietness and cosiness of the couples cottage was spot on .
